@chellsboutique thank you☺️💕 they're all knitted and then any lace/jewelry on the cowls and scarves are hand-sewn through the yarn. Very time consuming, but a lot of fun!

I want to write a book one day about how I reversed my endometriosis the year I was vegan. I started to get into homeopathic healing products and started yoga that year too. This was after my obgyn told me I needed surgery BC it was that bad. I also reversed the PMDD that went along with it!! Testimony to the fact that mammals are not meant to be eaten!!!!there are so many religions that won't touch them...

Trust me- WE baffle them! I was a teacher for 15 years &my colleagues always ridiculed me for my beliefs.They'd tell our common students things like "go tell Mrs Harrison I had a fat bloody steak last night!"Or "I love animals too- in my stomach!"Tried to shake it off but I'm an empath.Finally made a formal complaint but admin wouldn't support me. Sorry for rambling but u seem to exude therapeutic energy...

@arsbars I'm sorry you had to go through that-that behavior from others is terrible however it only shows their ignorance and disconnect from the universe. Coworkers would leave bacon and other meat products on my desk when I worked for a call center-very frustrating and rude. And ramble on! I'm happy to meet someone with the same mindset 😁🙌🏻

Ugh... So sad... Needless to say, I'm no longer teaching. I stepped down after the VP began to sexually harass me and admin, once again, didn't support me. This triggered past traumas and I went into a deep depression (& addiction). I'm now completely sober, but still suffer from some PTSD. Being a sub for Autistic HS kids has slowly helped me find peace with the public school system.
You would be a great therapist btw! I can feel your energy all the way over here in OC!

@arsbars Drawing from my belief in reincarnation, as pure energy we experience various joys and struggles (I relate to what you mentioned) throughout different life times...I remind myself this is only one accumulated "life" experience (e.g-The Secret). Kava root extract, meditation & running help with my ptsd/depression/insomnia. Funny you should say that, as I have been entertaining switching my degree from business to psychology.

Well I actually found the contrary to be true. It was through my undergrad studies where I was able to discover and find myself... However, I studied literature and poetry with a minor in Studio Art. Maybe it's what you're studying? You can always minor in business and major in psych right? To go into the BIZ field you don't even need a degree much of the time... However u do in the psych/therapy/healing field. Just an idea!!

@arsbars I obtained my associates degree at PCC which was all lab science and other required courses. Now I'm suppose to transfer to OSU for winter term (business), but it's all computer coding and more calculus. So needless to say I am miserable.

@marcellemaxine thank you! 😊 after my accounting exam today I'll be on winter break & plan to play around with new knitwear designs. Certain scarves may not be as flattering for those of us with larger chests but if they are structured correctly they can provide a particular shape/illusion-depends on the scarf type though. Happy to throw out some design options for you after I finish this exam👍🏻

@marcellemaxine oh nice! And thank you, I need it >.< lol. Yes, that silhouette is a good choice and will translate well as a cowl. The trick is to create enough volume on the sides of the neck that balance out the lower part but don't add too much bulk to the overall piece.

@tia615 the white shrug with the lace flowers mainly rests around your shoulders/across your chest and back like in the photos :) it's ideal for cold summer nights. I'll ship your black cowl with the lace & locket today💕 the locket is functional so you can even hide very small items inside. Next time I go to the yarn store I'll see if they have more of the white super thick soft yarn-last time they were out of stock.
