Counterfeit bareMinerals

I recently bought bareMinerals from a posher and it turned out to be counterfeit. Please read the article posted by the posher tagged in the first comment and make sure you protect yourself from being scammed. The last two pictures are from my own fake bareMinerals foundation that I purchased. I should have done my research before hand! The last picture is an actual bM representative (who confirmed the counterfeit) modeling the two foundations to show the differences.

@kgally this posher is the one who posted the article that let me know I had a fake bM product. Please visit her closet and read the listing she posted. Not only did I notice that my container didn't have an embedded code (as you will read about in her post) but I also noticed two more differences of which I pointed out in the above pictures. Sometimes prices are too good to be true 😢 learned it the hard way.

Great photos! Way better than mine. Let's spread the word! The bottom photo you took was what I was trying to explain in my other post to @sarahtennis she is the one who finally gave me the urge to post about these counterfeits.

I didn't have enough room for all the photos I wanted to post but another thing to note is that the ink on the paper directions slip on the inside of the lid is lighter in the counterfeit foundation than the REAL foundation. I believe this is because it is photocopied. A lot of times it is also not perfectly cut.
