Oct 20Reply

proverbs_31@poshlawyer Thank you! Isn't it crazy, we never would have meet if it weren't for Posh! @aflattery @pre_pa514 @cileia One of us need to take the bull by the horns and plan something to catch up lol!

Oct 20Reply

cileia@proverbs_31 We definitely have to do it soon again. After Poshfest! 💖

Oct 20Reply

proverbs_31@cileia Eric and I are taking a little getaway in Lincoln NH the first week in Nov. Maybe we can meet up?!

Oct 20Reply

cileia@proverbs_31 I leave to San Francisco on Friday, the 6th. Back on Monday, the 9th. Let me know the days you are thinking about and I will meet you there if I am around. That will be wonderful!

Oct 20Reply

aflattery@poshlawyer yeah but I bet your skin will be nice and super tan while I'm super pale! @proverbs_31 I'd be down depending on time, I have a Pinterest party that afternoon until some unknown time. @pre_pa514 would you be down ?

Oct 20Reply

cileia@poshlawyer Take care, Payal! We will make it happen! 💖💖😣

Oct 20Reply

proverbs_31@poshlawyer Oh no! Well at least it's getting cold now and you can mostly cover up! I had a weird skin thing in college that lasted several weeks like that too. Pityriasis Rosea or something? Ugh it was awful! Good luck!!

Oct 20Reply

proverbs_31@poshlawyer Ugh Payal sorry to hear! I felt so nasty! I think I had it at least 6 weeks. 😕 I know one other person who had it too. And for me it was in the summer! I looked ridiculous if I covered up or not. And I had a job interview with it! I'm so sorry - I really feel for you!! Hope yours heals up ASAP!

Oct 20Reply

monikasmoshposh@proverbs_31 Happy Poshiversary Fabulous!! Thank You For Always Being Amazing And Supportive!! All Of Your Sharing! I Am So Happy To Have Met You!!

Oct 20Reply

cmc514Hey gals! just catching up! First.. Yes I am grateful for Posh bringing us all together. I consider you true friends. I'd love to hang out, I have been wicked busy but if given enough time I can swing it. The most difficult part is I'm the farthest from all of you now. Ann what is a Pinterest party?!?!?!? I love pinterest! @cileia @aflattery @poshlawyer

Oct 21Reply

cmc514Second, Payal! @poshlawyer It sounds like you have Pityriasis rosea (I worked in Derm before grad school). Luckily its totally benign, not contagious, and usually asymptomatic. Very rarely does it last longer than 6-8 weeks! Unless you are not that healthy (which isn't the case). Be careful with tanning though! It can cause hyperpigmentation of the lesions!! The best treatment is good ol' natural sun, in small doses. Stinks its chilly out now.

aflattery@pre_pa514 Claire I have no idea what it's going to be yet! I got told to bring a pumpkin and some pictures for crafts, and any food or beverages brought must be something found on Pinterest! And you have to provide the recipe for it!

Oct 21Reply

proverbs_31@aflattery wow I love that idea! WE should have a pinterest party!! Or maybe I'll crash yours lol!

proverbs_31@monikasmoshposh Thank you! 😘 you were one of my very first PFFs 😁 So glad to have met you here - and I hope it works out to meet in person! My plans for LI fell through because my friend has a family member who has become very sick and their family has too much going on right now for me to visit. But I'll make it out there some time! It would be so fun!

Oct 21Reply

proverbs_31@pammysthreads I love your closet and I'm always happy to promote it! Even better, it's great to have met another sister in Christ here! 💕

Oct 21Reply

Oct 21Reply

proverbs_31@pre_pa514 I keep trying to type to you! First I was in a meeting and I think I excited the screen Idk, and then tried again and my phone died! So... THANK YOU so much for all your photography & app advice!!! It really has helped me so much! Thank you for introducing me to the Blast share group! Thank you for your shares & tags! And it's so awesome that we live close enough to hang out! No more beach days for a while, but maybe we can try a Pinterest party!! @aflattery 😁

Oct 21Reply

proverbs_31@meg23 Poshing is so much better because I get to share the experience with you!! How cool is it that we are Posh twins?!?! Too bad we don't live close!! Thank you for all your help since the beginning, encouragement with emailing to ask to host & be a SU (fingers crossed!), all your advice and tips for hosting - I could NOT have done that without you!! 😁 And please continue to send warm thoughts my way until June haha!

tonistwinkles@proverbs_31 ok. 😘💞

Oct 21Reply

proverbs_31@123tammie OK I think I have a nice pile of goodies for you :) Just let me know about the shorts - would a 4.5 inseam work? And the pants - do you wear regular length?

Oct 22Reply

proverbs_31@123tammie Well I figured that's Buy 1 Get 1 Free on the shoes ($25) & skirt (was $20, now free) and $5 for the cami, which is less than your $8 offer, and more than half of the listed price of $12 😁 $30 total. Sounds good? ..... Or if you want to pay $12 for the cami, you can take a 4th item that is $12 or less for free (no NWT) 😊

Oct 22Reply

Oct 29Reply

meg23Hey PFF how is your sale coming?! You've added a lot of stuff! I have several things I need to add, I just need to make myself take time to do it!

Oct 29Reply

proverbs_31@meg23 It's going pretty good! I've made tons of sales this month, but mostly small ones. A lot of people are making low offers (probably encouraged by the sale) and I'm accepting a lot of them... I want to get as much sold and packaged up as I can by Friday evening - before I leave for a little getaway with my husband... I'm on your new item tag list, so I'll be sure to share for you when you get around to adding your stuff!!

Oct 29Reply

proverbs_31@meg23 Quite a few things are selling the same day or within a few days of listing!! This is definitely the time to get your stuff listed! Sales will be up from now to Christmas! 💜

Oct 29Reply

proverbs_31@fashioniata I was seriously JUST thinking about reaching out to you!! How have you been?! How is the new business with your husband? You told me a while back about a big meeting you had coming up. I thought I asked about it, but I don't remember hearing back... Although who knows because I miss stuff on here too. Anyway, I've been thinking of you and hope things are good on your neck of the woods!! 💕

Oct 29Reply

meg23You're right, I think we'll see a big jump in sales between now and Christmas! I should have my stuff listed within a week or so. I usually lower the price on that new items listing, so I'm sure you'll see it when I do. Hope you have a great getaway with your hubby!

Oct 29Reply

proverbs_31@pre_pa514 Thank you girly!! 😘😘😘 I just read your comment in the Blast share page about being so busy. Would it help you if I tried to share your closet during the morning & afternoon parties M-F? Can't promise for every single party, but I can try when I'm available!! I know some people don't like for others to share their stuff to the parties, but if it will help you, let me know! 😊

Oct 30Reply

proverbs_31@pre_pa514 And I hope we can catch up soon! I'm leaving for a little getaway with my husband tomorrow night (which is why my sale is ending) but maybe after I'm back! Hope you're liking the new place. I think about you a lot, just seems like we all have things pulling is in different directions.

Oct 30Reply

cmc514You are more than welcome! And goodness I wouldn't care at all, since I NEVER DO now. I'm lucky if I finish sharing to the night parties! Lately I fall asleep before I'm done! LOL 😜 UGH I'm so tired. I can't ask you to do that though! Thats very sweet of you. If you have time and WANT to, go for it I'd be grateful. Please don't ever feel like you have to!

Oct 30Reply

proverbs_31@pre_pa514 Ok well I'll try to share when I can :) We'll need to plan something for November. Funny, I'm going to be in NH near Celia and hoping to meet up with her before she leaves for Posh Fest too! I'll be living vicariously through you ladies! I wish I had decided to go. proverbs_31@stlnicole Hi there, I noticed you added two items to a bundle. I have a request for one of the items already, but I haven't heard back from her since this morning. proverbs_31@bellapama Hi there! I noticed you added the J Crew sweater to a bundle. Just wanted to let you know that Posh's bundle feature doesn't handle BOGO sales, so if you want to buy a few things for the Sale, I have to make a special bundle for you. Just let me know 😊

proverbs_31@txan66 Thank you! 😘 I'm leaving for vacay soon, and I'm trying to get packed & package up some last minute bundles now! Eek! I'll be returning the Posh Love later! 💕

Oct 30Reply

proverbs_31@bellapama And you know, that is a really good idea, to keep items you really why in the bundle tab! I never thought of that. I have so much in my likes, with party listings, follow games, share groups, etc. It's so clogged up! Hmm, I think I'm going to use your idea for the items I actually want to buy! Thanks for the idea! 💜 😀

Oct 30Reply

bellapama😀 I really wanted those pants😔 I'll let you know tho, I like the sweater but I just bought one in a similar color.

Oct 30Reply

proverbs_31@bellapama Aw too bad on the pants. I have another few sweaters near the bottom of my closet that I added to a bundle for someone, but I haven't heard back from her since this morning when she asked for the bundle. Let me know if you like one or both - one is beige oversized hi-lo style, the other is black crossover in front. If I don't hear back from her soon, before I leave, I'll put them up for grabs!

Oct 30Reply

1smalltowngirl@proverbs_31 no need to share back, just a happy 1 yr on Posh! 💙💚💙

Oct 30Reply

nealie75Hi Megan, did this sign yield lots of sales for you? I hope so!! Have a great weekend :). @proverbs_31

Oct 31Reply

proverbs_31@nealie75 Hi, sorry for my super late response!! When you left this comment, it was the evening of the last day of my sale, and I was packing up to leave for vacation too - I was running behind, and I guess I just missed it. Anyway, I think the sale did pretty well!! I ran the sale for 20 days and made 21 sales. That's a lot for me! 10 were BOGO bundles. 7 were rather "low" offers on a single item - which I think were probably sparked from seeing the sale ad, and they only wanted 1 thing.

Nov 10Reply

proverbs_31@nealie75 In comparison, I only made 9 sales in all of Sept, and only 1 so far in Nov, although I've been on vacation this whole time and not really active on Posh. But during the 20 days of my sale, I feel like I was on Posh all day every day!! I shared a ton, my own stuff and share groups, from my feed, etc. I think it definitely helped increase sales for me.

Nov 10Reply

proverbs_31@nealie75 I'm thinking about running more sales through Christmas, but I don't have time to be on here 24/7, so we'll see! Hope that helps! And if you have any tips, I'm all ears!!

Nov 10Reply

nealie75Wow!! That is great, Megan!!!!! I haven't run any actual sales yet, but I keep blasting my "open to offers" sign, sending notes to people who have liked my items telling them I am highly motivated to sell and accepting reasonable offers, participating in tons of share groups and sharing my own closet. I have had 8 sales since Monday and 24 sales in all in last 6 weeks (2 were bundles). I do feel like I am on here ALL the time though, lol!! Congrats on your sales 💕 @proverbs_31

Nov 12Reply

proverbs_31@ssolaro I noticed that you added a few things to a bundle. If you want the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal, please let me know and I'll make a special bundle for you!

Nov 17Reply

proverbs_31@tiffanysforyou Hi there. I noticed you added some things to a bundle. Posh's bundle feature doesn't handle the BOGO sale, so if you want to purchase a few things, just let me know and I'll make a special bundle for you to get the Buy1 Get1 Free deal 😊

Nov 17Reply

proverbs_31@ladyp1955 For this Sale, it's $34 for all 4 of your likes 😊 Plus I can *try* to get discounted shipping from Posh!

Nov 19Reply

ladyp1955@proverbs_31 ok I'm waiting for my money to clear if you could hold just for a couple of days

Nov 19Reply

proverbs_31@latriguenamela Hi there :) I noticed you liked a few things, so I just wanted to make sure you saw my Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale, plus Free Shipping on orders of $35 or more :)

Nov 22Reply

proverbs_31@tifflass You're right. I just subtract the shipping fee from their bundle price. So it kinda just comes out of my earnings. Technically, they are still being charged a shipping fee from Posh, but the overall price will be the same as if there wasn't an extra fee tacked on. Does that make sense how I explained it?

Nov 22Reply

Dec 01Reply

ellebeastI have my first question as a newbie! How do I go about a request to sell on another site? I'm a bit hesitant? Any tips or advice?

Dec 02Reply

proverbs_31@ellebeast While I'm not the Posh police, it is against Poshmark rules to take transactions that start on Posh offline or off of Posh and onto another site. I personally think it's worth it to follow Posh rules, because Posh is a very social community. If people who do follow the rules see that you don't, you won't get shares from them, won't be able to get Host Picks for all the parties, and I think that holds you back in a lot of ways....

Dec 03Reply

proverbs_31@ellebeast ... Personally I wouldn't do it. There are tons of buyers here and you shouldn't have a problem selling :) ... the 500 character limit is frustrating sometimes lol!

Dec 03Reply

ellebeast@proverbs_31 I agree!! As I don't want to disappoint anyone liking or wanting my items, I just don't feel comfortable using another site. Thank you so much for explaining a few Posh rules I had no idea about. I'm still getting the hang of this site. Adding a new one would personally be overwhelming. 😕 Thanks so much!!! 👍☺

Dec 03Reply

ellebeast500 character rule??

Dec 03Reply

proverbs_31@ellebeast I'll also add that Posh doesn't prohibit us from selling on other sites, but they do prohibit us from directing people to those other sites. IMO Posh provides us with a great platform and has so much to offer. I think we have a lot more to gain by following the guidelines they set, than if we were to disregard them. Again, hope that helps :)

Dec 03Reply

proverbs_31@ellebeast We can only type 500 characters in one comment.... sometimes I have more to say lol!!!

Dec 03Reply

ellebeast@proverbs_31 ha ha ha... I'll be good with 500!! You've helped tremendously!!! 😆

(and if the pic I posted on your FB page isn't what you want promoted there, just delete). No worries if you don't buy something from my closet - support your local shelter instead! Locally I'm collecting used bedding, towels, money, and buying stuff they need. I used to volunteer walking dogs, I'm thinking of working with cats now. It's therapeutic - I think it helps me as much as them!

cncalabro@proverbs_31 This is sooo wonderful and generous of you Megan! I lost one of my two rescue twin fur babies a few months ago in a bad accident and it was devastating! After taking time to grieve my bf and I adopted another little fur baby to keep our Juna company, and he's been such a blessing! If it was not for the rescue group thy found our new little guy, we would never have found Romeo and adopted him. So thankful for animal rescue groups and shelters!! 💕🙏🏻🐱🐶🐾

Dec 28Reply

proverbs_31@cncalabro Aw, thanks for sharing! Love to hear of more people who adopt! A month ago I heard of a stray cat that my neighbor had been feeding outdoors. I brought my carry cage & scooped him up! He spent the night at my house before I brought him to the shelter in the morning. He got adopted a few weeks later, by a nice family who had previously adopted from there. Makes me feel really good to help him get a warm loving home before winter hit!

Dec 28Reply

proverbs_31@cncalabro This cat was so friendly and liked people. I gave him some toys and he really enjoyed playing with them! Such a great cat, he was just really dirty and matted from living outside. But now he has a family to take care of him. ❤❤❤ Some strays are scared of people, or even seem mean, sadly it's probably because they have had bad encounters with people. But after you love on them enough, and show them they can trust you, I think they all can make great pets!

Dec 28Reply

cncalabro@proverbs_31 Aw, that's so great! My first kitties Leonidas and Juna appear to be Russian Blues (I'm sure not 100%, but def fit the profile and behavior) and they were found abandoned on the side of the road at 2 weeks old. A friend nursed them with help from the shelter until they were 8 weeks and I adopted them. Then after Leo passed this summer I found a 10 week old kitten who was thrown out of a car but was all healed from road rash and he has made the best friend to our other kitty!

Dec 28Reply

cncalabro@proverbs_31 I'll have to post pix so you can see. If you go to my profile you can see Leo and Juna, but Leo is no longer with us :( I'll definitely share your bday special with some friends on here, bc I know a ton of animal lovers!

proverbs_31@maidmarian No, not my first year, just re-using an old post!! I did this sale last year too. I'll keep track of my sales through Jan 31 and donate all the money in early Feb. Last year I brought a full car load of stuff, plus a decent check! I used to volunteer at the shelter. Now I try to be an advocate for the animals. I donate at least $50 from every Real Estate deal I close too. Thanks for your help!!

Dec 30Reply

proverbs_31@matana Thank you, I appreciate it! I try to help in my community with lost and stray animals too. And I donate at least $50 from every Real Estate deal I close. Animals (ALL animals, not just cats and dogs... I'm transitioning to VEGAN) feel the same emotions we do: love, joy, pain, loneliness, fear, etc I think the strong should help the week. I enjoy being an advocate for them! ❤🐑🐐🐒🦁🐂🐄🐀🐖🐇🐔🐓🐣🕊🐟🐕🐈🐾🐾🐾

Dec 30Reply

proverbs_31@nanook_007 Not a party. Better! I'm giving all my Posh $ to support the animal shelter where I adopted my 2 kitties. It's a no-kill shelter run by volunteers and donations. ❤🐈🐕🐾🐾🐾

lil_livsI LOVE adoption!!!! My family is all about it. We have adopted 2 wonderful pup as well as my BROTHER!!!!!! When I begin my family, it is a non negotiable that I adopt at least one of my children. Adoption from pets to children is one of the best things you can do. Love love LOVE that you did this and I wish I had seen your closet back in January 😭😭😭
