Losing my sweet puppy has been the hardest thing I have ever been through. She has been by my side since I was 6 years old & truly became my best friend. The one there for me during some of life's toughest challenges, she was my rock loving me unconditionally. She was my angel here on earth & has now gained her wings. Please be patient with me as a seller, I am having a very hard time with this loss.😪💔 3/04/03 - 12/27/16

allisonsollisch@kaleyheider bahahh, we call them "friends" in our house. "Go get your friend!!!" And Bubba, our old boy, will run away then 2 minutes later will come trotting back with a hedgehog or a Dinosaur. Then our girl, Rose, will try to steal his friend lol. Lindsay looks like she's livin the dream - a boat load of stuff toys and couch life.

kaleyheider@allisonsollisch I think as she's gotten older, probably not as much because she gets cold and wants to come inside, but then I get to wrap her up in a blanket and kiss her up! ❤️ but she does like to pounce around a bit in it ☺️ last winter I volunteered at our animal shelter & one of the dogs brought from the south HATED snow & was so afraid of it, it was hard to even get him to go out to pee! I felt so bad. I guess it's sorta like people who aren't used to the snow😂

I got my furbaby when I was only 6 so I don't know life without her, it'll be beyond hard on me when I lose her. I know I'll love many more dogs throughout my life but just not in the same way, she's been with me through a lot! dogs really are the best. ☺️

heatherandjimAdorable i lost my first baby boy he was 14 and a half pitbull i adopted him when he was 5-6 he was amazing he saved my life 3 times lterly i was internaly bleeding out passed out on the floor tubical pregnancy he bit my husband in his belly and barked at him until he woke up than i fell asleep twice cooking and the detectors never went off he woke me up he passed about 5 months ago

heatherandjimI found out i was prgnant the same day the next day my tube exsploded again and i almost died the day after him i have two other babies one is 5 he is a pup at heart sleeps inbetween me and my husband under the covers and my girl pup she is 9 months old now and looks like my baby clyde that passed acts like him too i love my furry babies i still cry for clyde

kaleyheider@thinjwin we are so lucky - she's still doing really good although she thinks she is younger than she and can sometimes over do it. our last golden had to be put down at 9 due to hip dysplasia. This one is pretty small for the breed - only 60 pounds so that might help as well in lengthening her life.

kaleyheider@thinjwin I have a friend with three large male goldens and one is 14 now. 💕 with ours we just notice more trouble getting up on things like the couch but she gets glucosamine tablets for aching and they seem to help her. &I of course lots of love! haha.

kaleyheider@karint she hates all water - baths in the tub are the worst!😂 We've been blessed with her health. she's pretty white and has lots of lumps & bumps/skin tags but still cute as ever!😍 we all want her around forever but realize when she's no longer herself & doing what she enjoys we don't want her in pain/ miserable. she gets glucosamine chews for her aching which hell decrease her moaning & able to get herself up on couch. Plus doggy breath mints lol but nothing prescription yet! Hows your dog?

karintHe's actually just as he's always been. Playful, lazy, overly dramatic 😉. He also has lumps and bumps and a skin tag we had removed a year ago (on his belly and it just kept getting bigger and bigger). The lumps have been there for the last 5 years and haven't changed so I don't worry so much about them. I just can't imagine him not being with me, and sometimes it keeps me up at night :(

kaleyheider@karint I'm the same.😌 the thought of not waking up one day and having her to kiss is heartbreaking so I can absolutely relate. my mom is the same, she tells me how often she will tear up in morning or when she's saying goodnight to her. it's hard to enjoy moments you have w/o thinking about how limited it is. I've been through a lot with my health over the years & one thing I've struggled with is depression and she's been my biggest comfort in those really hard moments.❤️

karintSame here. It's amazing how much an animal can make you feel "ok" like nothing else. I think because I sort of grew up with Jack he is very in tune to how I'm feeling- if I'm sad he'll put his head on my lap and stare at me while wagging his tail and as soon as I start to cheer up he grabs a squeaky toy (typically his favorite, the fluffy pink lamb he has in the picture). I can't be sad for long when he tries so hard to make me laugh 😊

tezza630I was born in Madison, lived in Green Bay for ten years, then moved to Richmond VA in 2008. I am always amazed at the love I have for our babies - we have cats, but I do love dogs, just do not have a lifestyle that suits having one. Also, my husband is not a dog lover as much as a cat lover. 💚😽

kaleyheider@tezza630 I lived in Oshkosh my whole life until 2 years ago we moved to Greenville ( right by Appleton) I have 1 cat that came into our lives a few years ago who i adore but we weren't originally cat family and I'm still learning personality of cats😊 I'm comfortable with 99% of dogs but still weary of cats I don't know since I didn't grow up with them. I joke that someday when I'm married I'll be that wife that is always surprising my husband with new dogs that I rescued from the shelter! Lol.🐾

tezza630Hahaha, I can totally relate! I did not grow up with cats - my husband did. Before we married, we got our first cat together - I was 39! It was all new to me, and I didn't know what to expect - every time the cat would jump onto our bed at night I would jump out of my skin. Everything he did freaked me out! - lol! But then I grew to adore him, completely & fully. Sadly, we lost him at just 4 years old - it broke my heart. But I cannot imagine life without a cat now. 💚😽

We made the decision to have her put down two days after Christmas. I miss her more than words can express, she got me through some really hard things.💔 thank you for your kind words, it means everything to me right now.💕💕

limero9888I know exactly what you mean. I had a kitty for 16 years that I grew up with and he got really sick, kidneys were failing, and I'd hold him in my arms as he would have seizures and cry. They aren't pets, they are family. They are with us fur-ever.

limero9888Time heals but you'll never forget her. I wasn't the type to get a rebound pet. Several years later after my kitty died I found a 3 week orange kitten under a porch dying and I saved him and couldn't let him go. My heart felt full again. Ironically, the same time an elderly demented patient I used to care for reached out to me to give me her cat as she was declining and wanted her kitty in safe hands. I have 2 new babies and they remind me of all the good I had with my other babe 💕

csmith525I remember the gut wrenching pain when I lost my Stormy. Never able to have children so we were very close. I worked him through his obedience title and Therapy Dog License. He was 'My Old Man' .He was my once in a life time dog. I'll always be grateful to have had that experience. My furry friend now is a 10 yo chihuahua.He was a huge, beautiful Akita. My little Diva has been a lot of fun and is gray in the face now, just like my stormy was😥. Can't wait to see your new baby😊
