UPDATE: Doctors said they are hopeful for a recovery but unsure of what kind because he still is not talking or doing anything on his own. His white blood cell count has dropped from 30,000 to 18,000 which is good but until he talks they are not sure what his full outcome will be. Keep ๐ ladies I love you all so much๐

@valorieann ....Prayer request please. I've just found out my only brother has Stage 4 Lung Cancer. He has not led the best of Life, nor made good decisions. Please pray that God will spare him of a long battle of pain and suffering; and more importantly, forgive my brother of his ways, and when the time comes, allow him entrance into Heaven with our Adoptive Parents, whom are waiting for David there. We used to be so close as children; but somehow our relationship dissolved after our parents passed. I truly don't know how to help him, other than pray

Update on my brother......Cancer has consumed left lung, stomach, and a spot on his liver. Tomorrow is his 4th round of chemo, followed by scans to check progress of the cancer spreading. At 6'3", he's already lost 118 pounds. If he makes it through the winter, he may have 4-6 months.

Cont....I just spoke to him over the phone, and today was the last day of his FMLA coverage, so Christmas for his grandson will be nil. If he makes it through the end of the year, SSI Disability will begin in March, but until then, they have nothing. I'm trying to scrape together what I can to try to help.

So far, the Cancer isn't in his nodes, and my Sister in law gives him a shot of heparin every day to clear up a clot from a fall. His attitude is good, but he's terrified. Please keep my brother, David, in your prayers.

Suanne I just came across this. I am so saddened by what I read. I just said a prayer for your brother. I will keep him and you in my prayers. Talk to our Lord. He knows what you're feeling, but Talk to him. Give our Lord your sorrows , frustrations, disappointments as well as your joys. Through God all things are possible. And I don't know why I haven't asked before but I'm going to now, my brother, John (55 years old) has colon cancer, which has moved to his liver and his lymph nodes, he's done his first round of chemo and was doing well, but now has formed more tumors that press on his colon.

@noy2312 Thank you, my brother has accepted Jesus into his life, as we have lived our whole lives this way and have always attended church. Unfortunately, he is in a different state and I have only been able to speak to him over the phone. We prayed, we shared our love and our goodbyes. I know he is surrounded by family (my mom, his wife, kids, grandkids, our brother, friends etc) His priest has visited with him. Thank you ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐

@noy2312 I'm so sorry for your loss. This has been the most difficult situation for me. Watching my mother, who lives with me. Her heart is broken and to watch her pain, he is her oldest child. I was able to fly her out so she could be with him. I feel torn, not being there, but feel so blessed that we were able to have a great conversation.

I am hoping and praying we are a match so I can donate her 1/2 of mine. Her daughter Rachel has Cerebral palsy and we both need my sister she's normally our rock. We've had to reverse roles lately. @sherriscience Sherri Thank you so much for the prayers!! It is so difficult for me to watch my sister go from being one of the strongest ladies I know to fighting for her life everyday. I know that God has his bigger plan for all of us but I pray it's not time for me to have to say goodbye to her anytime soon. She has a lot to live for twin grandsons that are about 3 weeks old now and a 37 yr old daughter with cerebral palsy. Who totally depends on mom for everything.

My prayers are that the liver transplant will work and allow her to continue on this earth for many more years, but I know what you are going through. @sherriscience I am so sorry for your loss!! My heart breaks for you. I was just torn up after I lost my oldest sister and then my oldest brother 8 yrs later. I am the baby of 14 kids and my worst fear is to have to go thru this again Pat just turned 61 so she's 15 years older than me. We are very close. I have scoured the Internet for alternative treatments to go along with her radiation. I am a pharmacy tech and I know medicine to well. I am big on vitamins and natural cures.

@sherriscience She has been doubled over in pain off and on for 2 days and I told her today. Ok I haven't forced u to do anything but sis this will help your stomach you gotta trust me. So I mixed up her mixture and started feeding it to her. Within 5 minutes her stomach stopped hurting just as I had been reading about. I was so relieved just to see her feeling better. So I know what you mean when you say u can barely breath because I do the same thing.

@miami_wife Thank you so much for the prayers for Pat and our family. It breaks my heart to see her decline but I feel God moving me to trust him to lead me to her miracle. They won't test us to see if we are compatible until her tumor has shrunk at least 2 cms because it's to large for transplant at this time.

@hotpantsrhoads Thank you so much for all the prayers. Pat is a wonderful lady and I don't just say that because she's my sister. She has been a rock to so many of us in our family. It tears me apart to see this happening to her and Rachel. I just have to learn to trust that God is control and she is going to be alright either way she goes. It just so scarey to not able to help her pain.

@hotpantsrhoads @valorieann moms thyroid is messed up again but they got her meds straightened out. Finally admitted she can't put them together anymore so I'm thrilled she sees it. ๐ณ scan on her neck shows a tumor but it has not changed in the past couple of months Hired concierge doctor that will fly to Baton Rouge to get her healthy again. I'm exhausted. I cancelled 10 sales last night๐ฉLove you ladies and thanks for prayers!

@valorieann I just want to say thank you for all the prayers for my sister Pat who has liver cancer. She was put on hospice a few months ago and given 1 to 6 months to live. She has started rapidly declining. I wanted to ask everyone if they can send up prayers for her right now. She has now lost 50 lbs and is very weak, jaundice, and has so much confusion. I have been sick this week and trying to hold it together for all of us. Please keep us in your prayers!! God bless you!!

Thank you Val. It's my mom. She is being transferred to a better trauma hospital. Stroke or aneurism. It's ok to share Val. โค๏ธ๐๐ป my dad finds out tomorrow if he needs to have surgery. So, both of my beloved parents need lifted up in prayer. I'm on my knees begging God our Lord.

๐๐ผFROM SAUNDRAโค๏ธpraise God I got to leave the hospital. Prayers worked! No sepsis, lungs clear. They think I had a reaction to the antibiotic. Staph is healing I have to see a dermatologist and will now have 2 new antibiotics for staph. ๐ฉtotal of five since last Friday. Staph is scary since its mutated so much over the decades. Thank you for your prayers. Love you. Going to sleep. Exhausted. Can you let Poshers know their prayers were powerful. I will post later. Just too weak. Thank you all๐

@saundie Rachel had a horrible infection in the bone on her left arm and hand. She was on antibiotics for 6 months and it was not healing. Pat finally asked me what Rachel could use along with the antibiotics to help it heal and I told her it was completely healed in 2 weeks and Thank god it's stayed away. I know keep her taking it still 5 years later.

@saundie Sorry I hit post to soon before I finished. Apple cider vinegar allows your body to become alkaline. In a body that's alkaline Bad bacteria and fungus are not able to grow and thrive. The closest theory I can think of is like a swimming pool has to stay alkaline in order to keep it from turning green and growing fungus.

@saundie It's hard for some people to drink it as a liquid but if you can. You will need the brand Braggs you would put one tablespoon in a glass of water and sip it thru a straw. Rachel can't handle the taste so we decided to start her on one capsule or tablet (which ever one you can get) in the morning and one at bedtime so your body can get use to it. You don't want to take them at the same time as your antibiotics tho. So space 2 hrs apart

@saundie once she was on 2 a day for a week. We went up to 2 in Am and 2 in the Pm. She now uses 6 a day and has been on 6 since she healed. Her infectious disease doctor couldn't believe how quickly it healed because it was at least 6 months with no results.

Gatlinburg and the Great Smokies have lost homes, businesses etc. pray for families and business owners in all of these situations for peace comfort and safety especially for all the personnel working these fires for their safety. It saddens me deeply that most of these fires are a result of arson. We need to pray for our entire nation and all the evil in it.

@valorieann ty for your condolences I am ok please pray for the kids as my cousin was an addict & just had her last baby a few months ago. I am not trying to be cold hearted about it but she left behind 6 babies & didn't care. The addiction is so bad any more. Sorry I am venting but it makes me mad that she could do this to them. @valorieann OMG๐ญ๐ญ I am sooo sad I just found out about the Gatlinburg & Pigeon Ford fires! I am so sad that so much is lost. I hope you or no one else that was there are that close. I know pretty much everybody live further away but it's still very devastating๐ช if you hear of anything I can do or we can do please let me know. This is so sad and devastating how much is lost๐ I am glad I got to go & see it I talk about it all the time. Such a horrible thing & very saddened by this news.

๐๐ปMy daddy came through surgery fine. Thank you for your prayers. He has to stay there a couple of days. James is now as of today off the Ventilator. Praise our Lord.. he's still not awake so please keep the prayers coming for his complete recovery๐๐ป

From Tina this morning..He Has a fever so they have done blood work...please pray that it's all good...And they can treat easily with antibiotics...Off all sedation meds....PLEASE PRAY....LOVE U

@valorieann I know 5 are with different relatives the baby is with the state because she didn't want the baby to go to here mother (long story) but that would be bad & baby is addicted to drugs ๐๐ช so they are still arguing on who in the family to place it with. She just found out she has breast cancer & fell & broke her elbow now needs surgery Tues. for that. I am on over load. She is to old to have treatment right now & there is more to the story on it but to long for me to finish.Asking for prayers for her too ๐her name is Darcy. TYVM

Hi Val, can you please ask your prayer warriors to pray for my niece? She's pregnant with her first child and has complications resulting in excessive cerebral fluid and pressure on the optic nerve. She's going in for a lumbar puncture on 12/9 hoping to relieve some pressure. Please pray for her and the baby. Thank you so much.๐

@valorieann Hi Val, ๐๐Can you please add Marcie @marcie0707 to your prayer list? She lost her disability money yesterday ๐ขShe physically is not able to hold down a job with a back as bad as hers. This also means she would be without her disabled niece Rachel all day! Marcie is vital to Rachel's daily care and this separation would break her heart! As some may remember Marcie's sister lost her battle to cancer, leaving her daughter Rachel in Marcie's care. Thank you SO very much!!

@saundie Hi sweet friend! ๐ Marcie lives with Rachel through the week then travels 2 hours back to her house to be with hubby on the weekends. Rachel has aids that help with her physical needs but Marcie oversees everything regarding Rachel, gently nudging her to accomplish things she's only dreamt of!
