My son helped name my daughter when he was 4. Said he wanted to name her Cherries. My hubby was stationed in Greece in the Air Force at the time. I found a Greek name in the names book. Charis. It's pronounced like Karen but with the s sound at the end instead of the n sound. Most of us call her Carrie, but some of the in-laws still call her Cherries & she's 39 now.

@rain_bow_cloud Oh Girl, I'm okay, but truthfully, going thru a rather devastating heartbreak... my guy came into town last week, and right before he left (remember- I moved away frm civilization to be here for him & his boys), he looks at me and says "Melanie, I don't want to have (anymore) kids, and I'm sorry, but I will never marry you." No joke!! The kid thing I understand, but wow!, he could've told me b4 I moved! 😂😂😂

@rain_bow_cloud I know, huh?! That's the million-dollar question, bc I have been a homemaker for quite some time now, and he provides financially... I do NOT want to go back to Oklahoma, and as much as I'm hurting now, honestly Arkansas is growing on me. It really is beautiful, this state... I just need to figure out how to get back on my own two feet again. I have remarkable support from a select few women I've met here. LOVE my Posh sisters! 😉😉😉 Mel
