janimack7 @sy6864 @sy6864 Hi, Sherri. When I first bought these, I bought them as Sterling silver. But I’ve since wondered if it truly was. That is why I now say it is plated. I don’t want to mislead anyone. Silver plated is silver layered over another metal. Sterling silver is silver mixed with another metal to make it stronger. O.925 signifies the amount of silver in the mixture. Hope that helps! The necklace is one of my best sellers and favorite gifts.😊
