The first obvious sign that a palette is a fake, are the mirror edges. If they are rounded-it's a fake. Authentic palettes have sharp 90 degree angles on the mirror corners

Second sign is the shadow pans. They should be flush to the palette, as shown with the black palette in the first two photos. The second set of photos shows the fake palette-shadow pans are deep set

Third sign is for Lorac palettes specifically- their packaging is like that of NARS because it feels like a soft suede like material. If the palette feels like cardboard-it's a fake!

Another way to tell a fake is by looking at the back of the primer that is usually sold with these fakes. Read the print and if the word "individual" is spelled wrong-it's a fake!

@sunnyvibes yes girl there's a site called aliexpress where these scammers buy fakes in bulk and sell them for 20-25 bucks and make a profit. It's sad but true--so many fakes and liars out there--especially on poshmark

@funkyfemme516 I think it's to each his own. If you're someone who doesn't care about name brand then sure, it wouldn't make any difference. There are some really good fakes out there (I've heard) I haven't personally come across any.

A lot of those ingredients from the "knock off" make is pretty harmful to your health

I wanted to ask if everything on that website is fake? Not going to buy anything from it. Just cautious about any further makeup buys.
