Your comment on my listing was so genuine and heartfelt, almost palpable like a warm hug from a longtime friend. This alma traveled with me in Sydney, in Seoul, in Manila, everywhere really. I have a long love affair with my LV's. One day I walked in an LV store and the manager smiled, telling me how beautiful Cannelle is in person. I was astounded that even the color Cannelle is almost like a beautiful classic narrative, every LV piece is. Thank you again, love and peace💫

@hollysays Hello Lady, that LV that you pointed out to that seller, telling her it was fake, I told her the LV cerise cherry 🍒 bag was also fake, and she blocked me,,,lol! I'm really beginning to find out, they are some unscrupulous sellers here on Poshmark, deliberately selling fakes to unsuspecting customers.

@luvfashion5 I hear you. It’s sad and frustrating, but I just keep reporting them hoping they come down.
There are a couple poshers on here who tag me in Louis Vuitton listings they want me to confirm authenticity. 9/10 times I can pretty quickly. The one person that asks bought 2 fakes and lost all this money so I told her she could tag me anytime. Doesn’t hurt for a second pair of eyes 😁

@hollysays And the sad part is, they know they are selling fakes, and some of those unscrupulous sellers keeps their items under the $500 price tag to avoid authentication by Poshmark. And I truly don't think Poshmark removes reported items, Holly it's so frustrating to the point of disheartening!!!

@mzmalu sometimes it takes time, but here are some good indicators:
-there should be some sort of patina on the leather handles and the light colored pieces on around the bag. (For bags such as the damier Ebene pattern, that’s a bit trickier).
-there will be a stain around those light colored pieces, instead of a red sticky looking goo. the stain indicates an authentic bag.

@mzmalu also check the stitching, as Louis Vuitton bags are made by hand. As such, a lot of them will have an up stitch which is not exactly straight across but it will never be crooked. @layadina TH means it was made in France, 0087 means it was made on the 8th week of 2007. That being said, date codes can be replicated. You’re not just looking at a date code, you have to look at the stitches, the inside, the way images line up, the vachetta, the patina, and other tell-tale signs. A counterfeit company can slap an authentic date code on a fake bag and Collett real, but a true collector will be able to tell the difference between a real and fake bag.

@layadina hey love! I’m a huge cat person, so this bag would be ideal for me LOL. However, I found these exact photos on a listing off of another platform. I did comment on axguys listing so you’ll see it there 😁 I get really cautious with the exact photos are showing up on multiple listings on different platforms. This bag looks good but I don’t trust the seller

@layadina It is if the bag was made during the first 9 weeks of the year. For example, a date code of FL0118 would mean the bag was made the first week of 2018. Tag me in the listing and i'll take a look, thanks! :)

@layadina it is - the date code in my example shows that. However, if it's before a certain time, it's different. I can't recall the year off-hand they changed it to 1st & 3rd, and 2nd & 4th
