@gumbob It came on a good night. Today I had my first rough experience with a less-than-stellar potential buyer who backed out after I answered lots of questions, lowered several listings for her, and had her bundle items already packaged.

That happens sometimes. Try not to take it personally as hard as that is sometimes. I try to list measurements & material to help out others. Although, I don't get much listed because it takes time. Sometimes, you'll see signs or verbiage others put in their listings about how they conduct business. This way nobody's time is wasted.

@rposen you had mentioned you have PFFs. Is there a way to actually add Poshers to a list so that you can find them more quickly to share their closets? Or do you just make a mental note of who is in your PFF "group"?

@teamaddison I am still learning & not that savvy but I see Poshers with long lists of PFF's that they tag. Sometimes they have more than one list of PFF's. I think they copy & paste somehow & then I see the do not copy at the end. If you figure it out let me know. I keep a notepad & when I make a friend I write them down. They are also in my likes. It's getting so hard to keep up with everything!
I try to explain it to my friends who don't Posh & they don't get it at all!π

@rposen I have a notes section of my phone where I keep PFFs, party dates/themes and then I keep the party flyers in my likes and try to share the flyer and from the all the hosts closets at least once per day. π

@flairchange It sounds clichΓ©, but it is the truth. Joining the Army gave me a sense of purpose and pride. Something greater than myself. A chance to grow up while making a living. I met my husband while serving and we have our amazing son. I cannot imagine what my life would be like had I never joined the U.S. Army. π

That's a beautiful story. My grandparents were in WWII. My grandfather the army and my grandmother in the navy. They met in DC after my grandfather was wounded in Germany. They were married in 1946 until my grandmother passed in 2000. π

@guestcloset Welcome! I would be happy to help! PC=posh compliant. Non posh compliant items can cause your closet to be shut down. There is an excellent FAQ section in the app that tells you exactly what is and is not allowed but in short any clothing or accessory fashion item for women/men/kids is allowed. There is also an excellent closet dedicated to FAQs I will tag you to it immediately following this posting. It is an excellent resource.

@chandra_dee Thank you. πβ€οΈ An email had to be submitted to Poshmark (you can find the email in the FAQs tab) either by you or by someone on your behalf nominating you. You have to have at least 25 listings, have been actively selling on Poshmark for 3+ months, be in good standing as a seller and be posh compliant (there is also a list of what is allowed to be sold in the Posh FAQ section). Good morning! Any advice on how to handle a seller who hasn't mailed my item? I ordered on December 2, left her a message yesterday with no response. I believe it gets cancelled tomorrow, but do I get a chance to rate her? I don't want others to be as inconvenienced as I have been. In that instance the item was such a good price I still rated her 5 stars. If I were you I would do the following if you haven't already: contact Poshmark support with the issue. If she does not ship before the order is cancelled I would leave a comment on her about me (remaining professional) but voicing your disappointment. β€οΈ

@katiebm That is a fantastic attitude. I know it sounds clichΓ© but as soon as I stopped looking I met him. I am happier now at almost 30 then I was at 19. I used to be 210 pounds and very unhealthy. I decided to join the Army and change my life β β it is the best decision I ever made.

Since both of those states are technically OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) but still within the Union I believe the normal label is what should be utilized. βΊοΈ

At the top of any closet you will see an icon that looks like 2 hangers. When you click on it from someone's closet you are "styling them" or sharing your items to their dressing room. I have been doing the 30MM and adding at least 2 items a day. I did some price drops. I tried buying items to spark the algorithm. @lmlopez530 You do not have to write anything lengthy about yourself if you do not want to share. Just something simple maybe about the types of items you sell. If your home is smoke or pet free this is another great thing to mention. When creating listings take clear photos. I recommend also taking photos of the size/material content label. It also helps to lay clothes flat and post flat measurements in inches. ππ

@abc102182 Hello. As long as you have not "accepted" the purchase you can request to open a case. Here is the issue: perfume is not a "supported" item on Poshmark. It is prohibited. So even though the person sold it to you, it may not be "covered". I would still reach out to Posh and see if they will assist. Best of luck. π

@poojajp Time to upgrade!! π One of my huge issues with my old phone was a weird glitch. I finally had enough yesterday during a run with my husband. Literally every step I took my phone would pause/play pandora and intermittently Siri pops up with "how can I help you". Keep in mind I was holding my phone in my hand... so no buttons were being touched. π So frustrating! @poojajp While Iβm doing the 30 minute method I welcome about 10 new poshers then I go back to the feed and comment on 10 listings. Something positive. Things I genuinely like and then share the item immediately after the comment. ππ I am trying to list or relist at least 3 items per day. I had been listing only 2 and it didnβt seem like enough to boost me.

@poojajp I hope that it works for you! You hit the nail on the head friend. You have a job outside of your home, I donβt. I have more time to focus on tactics and listing. I still struggle with adding items as peak times because the best time for me to do the 30MM in early morning. I do it while Iβm at the gym around 10am because my kiddo is playing with his little friends while Iβm doing my thing. β€οΈ I have been trying to add 1 extra item later at night.

@poojajp I am going to slowly start reposting stale listings. I just cannot handle more items. Iβm at capacity. We live in a duplex and there is posh stuff in 5 of the 10 separate rooms: laundry room is my packaging area, walk in closet is stuffed, our bedroom/drawers under the bed, the downstairs playroom for my son has a shelving unit and boxes are stored in the tiny furnace room. π

@teamaddison I have never had a problem with mailing packages out a day or two after posh sends me the label but this one time, I was told usps requires packages to be labeled according to the dates they're mailed on and hence the confusion πthanks so much for the input, my friend π that really helps :)

@poojajp Iβve actually pulled back a little so hopefully momentum continues. I only do a full closet share at night. I use to start the morning with one but my son has been waking up super early and I just donβt have time so I start about 2/3 of the way down my active listings in the mornings. π I do my 30MM around 10AM while Iβm at the gym because itβs really the only time that works. π€·π½ββοΈ

@poojajp If anyone argues with you about it just bring up the fact that people use the drop boxes... lots of people drop mail off into those boxes on a Sunday that then does not get scanned in until Monday. Or even Tuesday if itβs a holiday and it is all just fine. π

@ashleymr_01 Every sale on Poshmark ships priority. When you make a sale a prepaid label (paid by the buyer) will be automatically sent to your email. Get any priority box from the post office marked priority or priority flat rate. The boxes are free with the prepaid priority label affixed to them. Simply drop your box with the prepaid label affixed at your local USPS post office.
