LOVE THIS ! Do you have other colors ? Is it cotton ?
Oct 28Reply

oatandhoney
@wjb82 I do have other colors and designs, but they're a work in progress. I believe they're almost finished, but I took a break from crocheting/knitting to focus on some other projects. I'll tag you once I'm able to get them posted for you. The other ones I currently have are a solid gray and a black/white one. I can also take custom orders/color preferences. I have scarves as well.

@oatandhoney what is the yarn made of?? :)
Mar 31Reply

oatandhoney
@cleoyeh I threw the yarn packaging away already, but let me see if I can find the yarn I used online. I got it from JoAnn fabrics. I'll tag you once I find it.
Mar 31Reply

oatandhoney
@cleoyeh I found it, it's 100% acrylic.

@oatandhoney is it soft to he touch or slightly itchy/on the rougher side??
Mar 31Reply

oatandhoney
@cleoyeh I don't think it's itchy and I'd say it's on the medium side. It was crocheted loosely so it makes it more on the softer side and I doubled up on yarn with the two colors. I know some of the other blankets I've seen are stitched very tightly and that's what makes it hard/stiff. If you are interested in purchasing and it turns out not to be what you expected just make sure not to accept the order and you can contact Posh to process a return.

@cleoyeh I know it's difficult to tell what it's like through photos. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Mar 31Reply

oatandhoney
@cleoyeh If you get a chance to go to Michaels or JoAnn fabrics you can look at the yarn and get a feel of what it's like. Most of the yarn they have is made of acrylic.

amynluv
@oatandhoney any other colors? I will purchase more than one.
May 24Reply

oatandhoney
@amynluv I believe I have 2 or 3 different ones, but I have to double check. The designs are different though. I'll get back to you and post some photos. I can also make customized ones as well if you want specific colors.

oatandhoney
@amynluv Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have 2 other ones in a medium gray and a black/white. I will try to get photos of them up today and tag you.
May 25Reply

oatandhoney
@amynluv So sorry for the delay. I checked the other blankets I have and they're a lot smaller than the one I have posted. I probably won't be posting those at the moment since I need to make them bigger or sell them as a child's size blanket. If you're still interested in this one I can work on the price with you.

Hi, I'm a fellow crocheter. I love this blanket. Do you happen to sell the pattern? How many different strands did you use? Do you think it would work with 3? Thx.
Dec 22Reply

oatandhoney
@avelasco89 I don't have a pattern as I just made it up as I went, but you should be fine with 3 different types of yarn as long as you have a large hook. I don't know the correct terminology for everything, but I can try to explain how I did it. It's one of the basic ones.
Dec 22Reply

oatandhoney
@avelasco89 I used two strands on mine because the yarn was kind of thin and I also wanted to make it softer so I used a larger hook.
Dec 22Reply

oatandhoney
@avelasco89 Im currently not home right now so I'm send you some instructions later tonight or tomorrow.
Dec 22Reply

oatandhoney
@avelasco89 I found something similar online, but you can adjust the sizing for a blanket. Also for the border I just went all the way around with a single chain. Make sure you find a large hook so you can accommodate for the 3 strands. I used a 11.5mm hook for mine, but you can probably get a bigger size since you'll have an extra strand.
