Please be reasonable ladies. It is insulting to offer people half of what they are asking. Most of my listings clearly state ‼️PRICE FIRM‼️ and yet I get half price offers daily. I am currently seeking a gang of boxing kangaroos since my monkeys have been so busy lately. Having difficulty obtaining these magnificent creatures though.

Just over the $9 offers on a $30 listing. Posh needs to have an auto reject where we can enter our lower offer that we would be willing to even see.

I agree about the stress of Poshmark. Sometimes it is a bit much. It is much harder for you & most of the other Poshers because it is personal to you. Most of my items are from my store & I am not emotional attached to them. But the situation with the wedding gown is outright insulting.

I am not a cold unfeeling person & I can't change who I am to remove the personal aspect of it. It makes me accelerate to the top in my field but burns me out quickly in an environment such as Posh. I eventually sold on Bay. But she offered 40.00 I was like if you can't afford don't insult me. (Bad Day) she said you never know what a person is going through. When I was first diagnosed the insurance wasn't paying & we drained our life savings. Hundreds of thousands of dollars. Sold our house & everything. Still didn't make me insult people! Fortunately the courts were on our side & we recovered a lot of the money, & I still don't insult people! Lol!!!

I got the crying emoji and tried explaining it to her multiple times. I get offers of $5 on things all the time. I wish I had Flying Monkeys. @meboutique I think it would be great it we could literally send a pop up screen of the flying monkeys and the laugh, etc..back to them.

bmarie2191 What I don't understand is why posh now allows offers on bundles. It's all fine and dandy if someone doesn't have a bundle discount because I think it should be expected after 3 items. But when you're already getting 20% off of a bundle of four items and you then offer still $25 under that price, that's just greedy and shouldn't be allowed.

I wish they would at least allow us to set an auto reject so we don't have to even see when someone offers us $10 for a $100 item.

champagneems Oh gosh I couldn't agree more 😓 just started Posh this month and made a good number of sales, but definitely had a fair share of lowballers. I wouldn't sell items if I didn't feel like they weren't in good enough conditions to be re-sold. Glad to know there are plenty plenty more sellers going through the same struggle.

meboutique @everythingpink1 Sharing can begin at 6am EST and they have until 2am their time to complete the shares. This ensures everyone isn't sharing the same things at the same time. Morning is a really great time to have your items shared. About 70% of my sales are in the morning before 11. As long as people come back after 2 to share everyone that signed up all is good.

anaclaire8 Wow, I'm so surprised at all this negativity! The point of Poshmark is to have a place to sell things you no longer want. I think there's no harm in people offering what they want, even if the seller considers it ridiculously low. These are used goods, and as a seller, you can always say no. I never minded lowball offers when I was selling, and while I didn't do it for long, I can't imagine why I'd ever be offended by a lowball offer.

anaclaire8 Sometimes people just want to make a little extra money and simultaneously clear space in their houses, and if that's the case, any amount is better than nothing! I think the people that are getting really irritated by these lowball offers are generally asking too much for used items to begin with. That's the beauty of Poshmark. If I wasn't going to get a great deal on something, I'd rather go spend my money on something new.

meboutique @citybellecloset I couldn’t agree more. It’s just ridiculous that there isn’t an option to auto reject offers. My listings all say ‼️ PRICE FIRM ‼️ 10% DISCOUNT ON 2 OR MORE ITEMS FROM MY CLOSET ‼️ but I get at least 5 offers below half price every single day.

I love my amazing Poshmark community, making new friends like you, and the perks. However — it also becomes such a headache. You can only reject an item so much! The worst is also when you do offer a good price on a bundle then get an even lower ball offer! It’s like a big slap in the face! 👋🏼✌🏼🤦🏻‍♀️

gothchic13 @thecatwalk you know snaptee can make you a new one for around$15-$20. Just get the app from Google play store. I use to have it but had to get rid of it phone limits. Too many selling apps, ran outta things of mine to sell at a point had to start buying wholesale so I had a few whole sale apps on my phone. Had to make the sacrifice. You snap a pic of what ever you want put whatever you want for words on it then choose style of shirt/size. Totally customizable

meboutique @secret03221975 That’s ridiculous! On another note, perfume is not allowed to be sold on Posh. People do it however it is against their rules & it is illegal to ship perfume via USPS which is the only shipping method used on Posh.

Many people will not share your closet JF there are prohibited items & it keeps you from being able to join share groups which are really useful for newer people. https://poshmark.com/prohibited_items_policy

bbydolldesi Can I use this for my closet ? Lately, I’ll get back to back offers ridiculously low. I had someone offer me $2 for a pair of $15 American eagle jeans. Like really...most are selling for much more than that. I also got a $30 offer on a $298 MSRP NWT listing. Makes me wanna quit the entire world sometimes. And then on the rare occasions I accept a lowball, they leave a bad review every. Single. Time. And have the nerve to submit another low offer for a new listing!!!

kasbowi Over the last couple months I haven't let lowball offers bother me as much. I just keep countering with my lowest price waiting to see when they'll give up. Sometimes it takes 3-4 times, but if I think of it as a game it isn't quite so aggravating. I do get ticked when I check out their closet and they are asking good prices for their own stuff.

kasbowi @meboutique Yes, those kind of people can be a real challenge and blocking them is probably the best answer. Most of my low-ballers have been newbies, and sometimes I've tried to gently educate them about PM etiquette. I've had that backfire, though, with nasty comments, too.The other thing that bothers me almost as much is non-fashion items in closets. Some look one giant yard sale!

lakeforest I absolutely love this!!! You’ve been around a long time like me but I’m only on part time. Perhaps one day I can beef up my listings, lol... but these buyers are just cruel sometimes! Posh clearly has been quite partisan towards the buyers forever now it seems. And.. try getting them to accept their packages in less than 3 days, ugh!

lakeforest Yup I hear you! That bunch qualifies in the “block/decline”category. They don’t bother to read our closet rules. The ones that irritate me the most are the buyers who make an offer right after I’ve reduced the price within seconds! I tell the buyer I’d rather just keep the listing! It’s not worth it to spend time on packaging/wrapping when our net $ is a pittance. I’m feeling feisty this evening😂

lakeforest I started selling about 8 mos after I created an account. I started buying on occasion then decided to take the plunge and sell. In the past couple yrs. I’ve had a serious illness (dx’d w/stage 3c Ovarian Ca. in Dec. 2015. Had a 13 mos. remission & had 1st recurrence 3 mos ago. Just finished up more chemo last week. That’s why I’m only part time. In a weird way, PM has been a great distraction to say the least...

This one woman offered me $15 for an item listed at $45. I counteroffered. She declined right away. I resisted the urge to be petty and offer her the same amount for her Ted Baker skirt, NWT. Lol.

sluglicker I completely agree with this. As a buyer and an amateur seller I find this attitude frustrating. Especially when they are blowing up my inbox asking me to make an offer and then tell me they will only make a couple dollars profit. I tell them I'm not interested and then they offer similar prices over and over again...

sluglicker @anaclaire8 As someone who is only really interested in great deals on gently used clothing, is trying to clear out her own closet and who routinely filters out boutiques, this is just as irritating to me as it must be to sellers who get upset at low balls. I wish poshmark had a way people could identify as a "profit closet" that users could filter out. I think that would save frustration on both sides.
