Dec 11Reply

d9pinsHello, how does this whole host pick thing work.? Is there a party tomorrow? Also, I'm going back to Florida in Largo ,Do. Until springtime. I can't take the cold. Ty, for the compliment.

Dec 13Reply

amandas2ndroom@d9pins Hi 👋🏼 Yes, there are parties every day! From the “shop” page, scroll down just a bit until you see “parties” it’ll show present, upcoming, and past. If you tap on an upcoming party you can see who’s going to be hosting. Usually hosts will advertise on their page about the party. It’s a good idea to like and share that party listing to stay up to date. Hosts will usually look for closets that are posh compliant, never had a host pick, and have a party theme-related listing.

Dec 13Reply

amandas2ndroom@d9pins your closet is posh compliant! Perfect! I’m going to add you to party tag lists with two of my favorite poshers. What this means is they will add your closet name to any party listing a host has made. This means the hosts will see your closet in these tags and know you’re PC and able to receive a HP. It helps to share the hosts’ listings, share from the poshers who always tag you at parties, and attend the parties by sharing yours and others’ closets.

Dec 13Reply

d9pinsTy so much.

Dec 13Reply

d9pinsI made a bundle I have a question. Do you have another closet? If so I will unbundled and look at other closet.

Dec 13Reply

amandas2ndroom@d9pins no, this is the only one

Dec 13Reply

d9pinsI will wait til after party to decide on purchase. Talk later.

tractorqueen1Thanks so much for the tags my PFF!! Fellow poshers I have personally purchased from this awesome lady!! She puts time and thought into her packaging and her items are AMAZING!! Could not be happier with my purchase 😍😍

Dec 22Reply

oth2016Hey I purchased from you a bundle of stuff like a few weeks ago and I love them. But since I got them I have been washing and soaking them in detergent and they have such a strong smell to them and I have no idea how to remove it. Don’t get me wrong I love my purchase but the smell is really making it impossible to use. Would you know how I can remove the smell or what it is?? All the bras tights and knee highs have it! Can you help me

Dec 23Reply

amandas2ndroom@oth2016 I’m not sure. What kind of smell? Everything from your order was brand new; I was thinking maybe it was my laundry detergent, washer beads, or dryer sheets but I checked your purchase and none of those were ever washed. Was the package damaged when it arrived? It’s very odd because, from your order, your items were being stored in 5 different containers too. I love using the Downy Unstoppables in my laundry. What detergent are you using?

Dec 23Reply

oth2016I am using tide, Downey and Peresil strong. I was thinking maybe you had something jn the location or moth balls or something because it’s soo odd even the packaged items has that smell. If it was a garage or basement it can be an chemical that was ever used lingered. I don’t know honestly what it is but if you don’t know either it’s fine I I’ll try to continue soaking or something. It is really strong so I soaked it in tide and other detergents for over a day and that didn’t help either 😫

Dec 23Reply

amandas2ndroom@oth2016 I have no idea. I don’t use moth balls. I don’t even know where to buy moth balls. And everything is stored in plastic Rubbermaid bins in my upstairs loft, never in my garage and I don’t have a basement (in Florida). I would suggest using some Downy Unstoppables (I love those). I have noticed some items I receive from China have a strong chemical smell to them when I open the packages. But that would only account for the gloves. I’m really baffled 🤦🏼‍♀️

Dec 23Reply

oth2016@amandas2ndroom ok well thank you anyway!!! I appreciate it and will defiantly try that now!!

Dec 23Reply

amandas2ndroom@oth2016 I’m so sorry. I just went upstairs to sniff around. I cannot find a culprit or a reason anything would have a smell.

Dec 23Reply

oth2016@amandas2ndroom since the day I received and opened it’s had the smell and I have been washing and soaking non stop since then but it baffled me too. But thanks have a great holiday

Dec 23Reply

amandas2ndroom@oth2016 in the future make sure you contact me or PM right away so it can be fixed. I’d like to have you send everything back for a refund but I don’t think posh would approve that now.

Dec 23Reply

oth2016@amandas2ndroom I don’t want to return I love my items just wanted to see if you would know how to deal with it. But thanks anyway.

Dec 23Reply

totopuffThank you so much for sharing my belt and for making at the host pick! If you ever see anything in my closet that you like, just message me and I will give you a wonderful price! Merry Christmas 😘

Dec 24Reply

littlegypsieJust stopped by to say~ I hope you had a great holiday, and have a happy New Year too. When I got home on Friday, my hubby asked me to please stay off of Posh until after Christmas~ but, like you said, I think I'm addicted too, I couldn't wait to get back on!

To follow everyone back, I go to my closet, click on followers and follow all the blue (ones that follow you). Makes it a lot quicker 💋

Feb 25Reply

abailinHey! You have an incredible wildfox collection! I know this is a long shot but any chance you'd be interested in trading the Barbie bbj for any of the wildfox I've posted? Let me know, thanks so much 😊

Feb 28Reply

amandas2ndroom@abailin Hi! I have some specific ISO’s I’m looking for right now. I don’t see any of them listed on your page though :-/ if you add anymore pieces tag me in them. (Especially Size Medium!) xoxo

Feb 28Reply

abailin@amandas2ndroom ok will be sure to keep an eye out! 😊

Feb 28Reply

rachelmacneillThank you for your help and shares💕 You are so sweet! 🌷😘

Mar 02Reply

trubeydoo@amandas2ndroom omg thank you so much for the shares and for helping me with a HP! That was so incredibly kind of you and I appreciate it greatly! 😭😭😍😍

Mar 02Reply

amandas2ndroom@trubeydoo Hey, no worries! You have a great closet and you’ll do very well ♥️♥️♥️

Mar 02Reply

amandas2ndroom@jedfr098 Go right ahead :)

Mar 05Reply

amandas2ndroom@jedfr098 I’m assuming you mean something like distressed blue jeans, a concert tee, and maybe some skull or spiked jewelry? Leathers and studded clothing and jewelry as well I’d consider rocker.

Mar 05Reply

amandas2ndroom@jedfr098 Are you looking for something for your wife/spouse?

Mar 05Reply

amandas2ndroom@jedfr098 I’m sorry-i was just looking at your photo and assumed you were male ;) sorry about that! I don’t really have anything “rocker” in my closet per se. I do however have some items I’ve liked myself that fit the description and I’d be happy to tag you in the listings if you’d like. What sizes are you looking for?

Mar 05Reply

amandas2ndroom@jedfr098 Let me see what I can find for ya :)

Mar 05Reply

amandas2ndroom@jedfr098 that would be ideal but we don’t have that option when we’re sharing other people’s listings :-/

Mar 05Reply

amandas2ndroom@jedfr098 Basically you’ll just want to search the listings with keywords like: Distressed jeans Distressed tee Rocker tee/leggings/top/jeans Punk rock Studded bracelet/belt Spiked bracelet/necklace You’ll find lots of things! Make sure you set your sizes up on your profile so when you search it auto filters your sizes only.

annasposhalley@amandas2ndroom 🤗Aww i dont think i have visited this listing, you have a beautiful family & you are super adorable I just want to hug you.🤗 So was talking w/my BFF & Hubby about AIW tattoo. Hubby said u have to get the smoking catepillar & My BFF said u have to get the awesome Red Queen, lol Still a hard choice to make becuz all of the characters are the bomb!😎

Mar 11Reply

amandas2ndroom@annasposhalley 😍😘 I’m thinking the caterpillar! The queen will need the trees with the cards painting the roses red, the croquet...more than is affordable right now :)

Mar 11Reply

aurora_apparelHi, I see you do share for share! Shared 10! (Please direct me to a “share for share” listing if you have one, I didn’t see it!

Mar 17Reply

amandas2ndroom@aurora_apparel I do not have a listing like that. I only join share groups or events. And return shares when I am able to after someone has shared. Hope that makes sense.

Mar 17Reply

kirlygurlHi there! I noticed that you liked the rainbow and unicorn duffles. If you bundle them, I can give you a better deal! 🌈🦄

Mar 26Reply

amandas2ndroom@kirlygurl what would be the price for both?

Mar 26Reply

kirlygurl@amandas2ndroom please use bundle and offer button.

Mar 26Reply

wenrellaHiagain.I haven't excepted the BJ necklace yet. I just tagged U on it. Last night I wrote to PM & said " this is fake, but I'm to sick to deal with returning it & all the other stuff that goes with it. I'm just letting U know I believe this is fake. I'm just tired of buying fake stuff from PM cuz I don't know the brand. This is the second time I've purchased a BJ product hat was fake. I found someone (you) that knows real from fake & I'm having her look at it. I also sent pic to PM Support

Mar 30Reply

amandas2ndroom@wenrella good for you! I have been reporting the same fakes for months and they’re now sold or sold out. It disgusts me. Posh always says how it’s illegal and yada yada but THEY are profiting from it!

Mar 30Reply

akell461Hi! Thx for your purchase! I will send it out tomorrow!

Apr 01Reply

annasposhalleyHi Amanda, guess what? today i was doing my moderating and i was able to agree with 3 different vs pink replica socks, 3 different closets, whooooo hoooooo. not the 2 we talked about but I feel like its a Win! lol

Apr 05Reply

amandas2ndroom@annasposhalley YES WOMAN!!!! Ugh such a sense of progress after soooo long! Thank you! And thank you for taking the time to learn deeper into these replicas. I also made a list of closets and sent them to PM. They “rest assured” me they’d send the email to the mod team now.

Apr 05Reply

annasposhalley@amandas2ndroom Dude...Thats awesome, fingers & toes crossed!

Apr 05Reply

rach141Thank you so much for your help! One more question: why do people mark things “not for sale,” but they actually have prices?

Apr 19Reply

amandas2ndroom@rach141 it depends. Some are “signs”, like advertising a sale or an event. Some may have been sold on another site and marked not for sale on here so they can’t be purchased again.

Apr 19Reply

reign_and_ryanCheck your Insta message!!!

Apr 28Reply

danapektasO my goodness, Amanda, your closet is so beautifully presented...I’ve literally been in here for over an hour!! I’ve been reading a bit about you leaving and why. It’s a darn shame that PM does not see what an asset you are to them and how horribly they’ve treated you. BUT, on the other hand, go far in your studies and put all your energy into that! Because, in the end, your education is the most important thing!! God bless you in your future endeavors and no more unneeded stress!

May 02Reply

amandas2ndroom@danapektas thank you so much 💜 your words mean a lot to me! It’s such a difficult decision because I love (most) everyone on posh. They really need to make some changes though! And I definitely need all my attention on school. I’m a serial student. I like to graduate then change into another major haha hopefully this will be it 🤞🏼

May 02Reply

danapektas@amandas2ndroom YW! 😘 CSI has always been so interesting to me. My son took a class in school this yr (Jr) and was explaining what they did, how they did it. He liked it...I’m gonna try to steer him in that direction. You can never have too many crime scene specialists! Don’t think the robots will be taking over that type of job!! Btw, I’ve ‘liked’ a few clothes in your closet. Should I bundle them and you send me an offer?

May 02Reply

amandas2ndroom@danapektas he will have job security forever with a degree in anything criminal! I’ve completed my CSI degree. But with young kids and a husband I can’t take a job doing that (it’s not a 9-5 kinda job, unfortunately). With criminology and law I’m going to go into being a crime analyst. If you’d like to bundle, add away. I’ll send you my best offer and discount shipping.

May 02Reply

danapektas@amandas2ndroom Yep, that’s the truth, def NOT a 9 to 5’er job! But it would be so interesting and different every day- you won’t get bored, that’s for sure! 😉 Well, like I said, good luck in all yur endeavors and being a serial student is an awesome thing to be...sure beats being a serial bum! So, I put some items in a bundle. Let’s see if my bank account can handle it 🧐 🤞 I’ll wait for yur offer. Thx again.

May 03Reply

amandas2ndroom@danapektas sorry for the delay. I was out with my teen, doing some night time highway driving lessons. How’d you survive these times? I’m a nervous wreck when I’m not in control of driving and even worse with a teenager driving!! Wow. I won’t let him get his license until he completes the Florida driving school then driving lessons (free after he completes the class). Orlando is a busy city. I need to know he’s prepped! Offer sent now.

May 03Reply

akmantiaThat's a powerful meme! 💛

May 06Reply

amandas2ndroom@akmantia I have been through some thangs! I have to remind myself to fight my demons every day. I like to share this for anyone else who struggles with something that each day we wake up and continue to fight is another day we’ve won. 💜

May 06Reply

finelyusedHi. Sorry to hear you r leaving. So for tonight's party do I share items from my closet or someone else's? Can I get in to drop before the sale? Thanks!

May 06Reply

akmantia@amandas2ndroom I understand such demons, unfortunately. They're tough, but we're tougher. I know this about you without even knowing you personally, because a person weak in their core could never share or be vulnerable. I'm sorry for your struggles, but i see great strength in your life ahead! ❤❤❤

May 07Reply

danapektas@amandas2ndroom I’m sorry I didn’t get back to you and your closet sooner..we ended up having a 3 day impromptu vacation and I was so bummed I missed your ‘sell out’ deadline. I really wanted some of your items !!!😢 I posted earlier on your other listing.

May 07Reply

danapektasAs far as driving with the MALE teen, all I can say is ‘GOOD LUCK’!! Geeze, especially in Orlando..that’s got to be a crazy, scary place to drive, let alone with a youngster! How’s he doing so far? We had a 5 hour car ride, and it was kinda nice to have a 3rd driver so I got to snooze!

May 07Reply

danapektasHope your party went well yesterday. Do you have to do anything else besides getting to pick who gets invited to it? Must be fun! 🤪 If you can sell me anything, that’d be great! But, I understand you had a deadline. I’ve been up for 27 hours now, so I’m going to bed, but I’ll check you out later (7-8 hrs from now! 💤🛏💤)

May 07Reply

amandas2ndroom@danapektas hey!! Yes-I’m finishing up the sale today! You’ll have time to grab some goodies!

May 07Reply

amandas2ndroom@danapektas Sold the Lucky booties already. But everything else in your bundle is available still.

May 07Reply

tractorqueen1Welcome back love!! I have not been on here much due to everything hitting at one time, it has been crazy

May 30Reply

tractorqueen1Thank you so much for your friendship and unwavering support!! I don't take it for granted. I have not been on posh much lately due to everything that has hit my son and I all at once. When it rains it pours but I am still looking for the rainbow after the storm 🤔😊 You are awesome and I wish you all the best in your new endeavors as well...

amandas2ndroom@fmrp thank you for making me giggle. I needed that! It’s been very tough at home lately with my sister’s car accident and my son being a typical teen. It’s no problem if you need to cancel though. Best of luck to your son and his team at his meet today!!!!

Sep 15Reply

fmrp@amandas2ndroom oh no.. hope she is recovering well as far as a teen boy.. my 2nd boy started taking family cars for ... whatever when he was 14.. All 4 use to run the neighborhood and steal swims in the neighbors pools... it never gets truly better, just different... buy more shoes

And if there is something that you like, but not the price, make an offer! XoXo, B.

Sep 24Reply

amandas2ndroom@beeblakelee Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! Maybe consider making a sign for your closet that you’re moving and need to get rid of everything before the move. Let people know you’re taking offers and ready to sell NOW! So when they visit your closet they know they have a good chance of grabbing the item(s) they want :)

Feb 16Reply

amandas2ndroom@sofisticata hey there! Good morning! Sorry it took me so long to get a thank you card out to you. The family is slowly adjusting still. We’re taking on new projects like painting the house and planting a garden to keep our minds from missing the pup too much. Still really painful :( I’m planning on using your cute drawing and painting it on a canvas :)

May 24Reply

innerbeautyposhI absolutely love how your closer listings are designed! That drew me right in! Is there an app or photo editor you use to create those slide designs? I don’t want to be a copycat by any means but figuring out how to really personalize my closet look and feel is where I am right now! Would live your feedback! Thanks for your consideration. Oct 06Reply

amandas2ndroom@serendipityposh just keep sharing as much as possible. Sometimes sharing a listings 10x in a row helps too. It’s time consuming but it works. I’d recommend that method be done on a computer.

vintagefindsmdCongrats for hosting the Street Style Posh Party. What fun that will be. I’d love if you could select one of my closet items as a host pick! Nov 03Reply

amandas2ndroom@fridaklo I’ll be there :) I love looking at the mini fashion picks!

Nov 03Reply

wawils25Im about to ask a dumb question, am I picking something for the party or will 1 of the host be picking 1 of my items??

Nov 03Reply

amandas2ndroom@wawils25 there’s never a dumb question sweetheart! When someone hosts a party, they pick the item to showcase. They have their own methods. Occasionally you’ll see a party listing and in the description the host WILL ask you to either tag them in a listing of yours for HP or share a listing to their bundle. Most hosts don’t do this bc they like to pick their own. Some do it because it’s easy and they don’t have to put in effort to search for picks.

Nov 03Reply

amandas2ndroom@wawils25 never hesitate to ask me anything. I’m always happy to help.

Nov 03Reply

sg_mcclardThank you for letting me know what Poshmark takes out & working with me on price. I really appreciate it!! 😊

Nov 04Reply

wawils25@amandas2ndroom thank you

Nov 04Reply

amandas2ndroom@sg_mcclard no problem! I saw that you didn’t have anything listed so I was assuming you weren’t aware of the different fees. Sometimes I do listing items for $3. I make those “add ons” that are to be added to a bundle in order to buy at $3. Since the bundle price will usually be higher than $15, I can afford then to sell one item for $3. Hope that makes sense lol I seriously loathe math!

Nov 04Reply

amandas2ndroom@wawils25 anytime my friend!

Nov 04Reply

wawils25Thank you for help my item being a HP 😊😊

Jan 28Reply

amandas2ndroom@kicksme2019 unfortunately there isn’t. You would go from my closet, click on “followers” and then click on each one that’s blue. I find it easiest to scroll all the way to the bottom and work my way up. I’ve tried it on the app and the laptop. It’s equally as time consuming. BUT! You will get A LOT of follows in return, thus more traffic, and hopefully more sales!

Jan 28Reply

amandas2ndroom@kicksme2019 Of course :) I try to get back as quick as possible. Let me know if you have any other questions. I’m always happy to help!

b_diva7Hi I ordered this same dress from another posher although at a cheaper price I am still awaiting shipping. It is taking to long and I need dress for a potential option for my bday next week if possible can you ship out today?

Apr 19Reply

amandas2ndroom@b_diva7 it’s already packed up and on my porch! I have a scheduled pickup today. So it will definitely be on its way today :)

Apr 19Reply

b_diva7Thank you so much. Hopefully this is good fit!!!

Apr 19Reply

amandas2ndroom@b_diva7 I hope so to. It is super cute on, hugs all the curves :) And the top portion stays in place so you don’t have to worry about and peep shows. Unluckily for me, I lost all my curves when my husband asked for a divorce 2 years ago. I imagine I’ll get them back once these shenanigans are over with 🤞🏼🙏🏻 But I do hope it’s a great fit for you. You’ll have the coolest dress at your event for sure!
