nat007 @darlawhite ... I can't say for sure it won't eventually tarnish...I haven't had problems with mine. I have a bunch out for Mother's Day and haven't heard any complaints.

nat007 @earlenewaits Hi there...I apologize for getting back to you so late. I re measured and tried it on and no it won't fit an 8" wrist. It will fit a 7-7 1/2" wrist. I updated my listing to reflect the change. I thought my original measurement was incorrect. I had to be sure before I gave you a definite answer.
