The saying "once you've met one child with autism, you have met one child with autism"! Life if truly challenging but the love and joy outweigh the sleepless nights and other part-time job with her education and Drs. I personally have not had to care for anyone with Autism; but I have a friend who does like a "day care" for a non-relative, adult, with non-verbal autism. My friend will pick him up in the morning and will care for him, hang out with him, and take him to do and see different things. I always admired him for the love, courage, and patience that it takes to do. I don't know you personally and I dont usually leave comments like this.....

My son will get tested for autism on the 25th this month ..I been knowing he has it since I started to read about it ..his dad didn’t wanted to believe / accept it .. he is such a smart boy (2years old) he knows his shapes, abc and numbers ..he won’t say mommy or daddy though ..he learns with his tablet .. theboldmenu @got7seven Hi 👋🏻 my son was recently diagnosed! Try ABA therapy. My son didn’t talk. Only named the letters of the alphabet. And the number 3. and thanks to ABA in just one month he started talking 🤩 look information online and get an evaluation with a ABA profesional. 💙

got7seven @theboldmenu good evening 💕 thank u I will look into that ..the thing is my son learns by watching , so anything he see on tv or tablet he will say ..but let’s say I have him in front of me , and tell him to say mama, he is not doing it at all ..since about 4 weeks now he is having tantrums atleast 2 a day they will last up to 30 min

khattie @got7seven well mine will be 12 next month and she doesn’t talk at all. Sometimes they just don’t. It’s been a long road but one well worth it. She’s been in ABA for about 8 years and it’s helped tremendously with impulse control and being able to sit in school, etc but again mine is not high functioning. I’m not sure how much help I can be. My son is 2 and he knows his abc u can show him letters and he will tell u , he count and count backwards too , he knows his shape ..but that’s because of baby first tv on YouTube, when I wanna teach him words he won’t do nothing ..I have a question for u though , can u clean ur child’s ears ?? My son won’t let me touch his ears at all .. idk what to do , most of the time I wait til he sleep take him out of the bed and clean it thn

fashion_noveau @got7seven my son was diagnosed with autism almost a year ago. The biggest help has been ABA Therapy. Its exactly the environment they need for the best quality of life ☺️. The sooner you do ABA the better, especially when their young ☺️

fashion_noveau @got7seven Yes, they are particular about tastes, textures, and temperatures. I try to find healthy alternatives to the types of food he likes. He used to be on a baked bean kick, all meals, and then an oatmeal kick. He fell in love with bars and goldfish, now he prefers Cheeze-Its and Energy, Fig, and protein bars. 😜. He only drinks milk and water. I don’t do juice ☺️. We just graduated to cheese sticks. It’s always evolving, but I always encourage him to try more things.

fashion_noveau @got7seven If he doesn’t recognize it, he won’t eat it. Sometimes I take a tiny tiny piece and push it into the side of the piece so that he can at least taste it. Most times it doesn’t work, but it has a few times. Also, not giving him options of what to eat has helped him to try different things. He has decided to go to bed hungry before. What I’ve always heard, Children will always eat when they’re hungry, so don’t stress about them not eating.

I personally have to have the mental focus and energy to follow through with the more challenging tasks. It’s always a balance. You’ll find your balance 😘

3lilbrds Ahhhhh!!! Your daughter is a stunner!!!! My son has autism. One of his teachers used to call Autism BBS ( beautiful baby syndrome) and it’s true! Every child I’ve see with Autism (and I’ve seen hundreds lol) just looks angelic. They’re beautiful inside and out. You are one blessed mama!

jacluckycat my daughter is 2 and a half and we just got the official diagnosis but I've known since about 16m. after 6 months of speech therapy has produced no language we are starting to learn ASL. just came across your post and it made me tear up.
