@sharbear420 This definitely would work since its compression (tight) along the abdomen. And yes, that's right the SMALL label or tag in Ur garment would read MEDIUM. BUT, I couldn't or do they make a Small in this. The smallest is the Medium. If Ur having surgery, R U sure U would need a S?

They're both very popular and I can honestly say.......made VERY WELL. I wont get something in unless I check the previous feedback and its all good. Been ripped off before.. And it was ALL positive.!!! Glad I found them!

@wibby26 Hi Robin, I'm a size 6 and I wear a MEDIUM. And when U first wear them, they're going to be snug. So, with that in mind, I don't think the M would do. At least until Ur waist gets used to it and you can go down a size.
I would think the LARGE would be Ur best bet!👍👍👍👍

Regardless, I got these (both kinds) because of the absolute positive feedback from ladies that wore them before I even ordered them. They're made very well. AND very comfortable. If Ur looking for complete coverage & control, the other style will be very tight at first but is very effective. These R too but prettier and same....will be tight at first. I love these!💗

@wibby26 Hi, yes they went out with 4 other packages. All at the same time, same place and they all say..."pending USPS scanning". So, they all were mailed from the same place. A lot of times they don't update their scanning promptly. Their tracking anyway. If I don't see it shows up for all the packages by the morning, I'll see my girlfriend at the Post Office. She's been there 30+ years & has never let me down. Hopefully, they'll update it tonite.

@mlgkmommy Hi...Good timing! I just got home. THIS ONE is just more frilly and has lace. It does the same thing but they're more like panties. The OTHER ONES, of course, come in blue as well. I believe there is the same amount of support but a little higher. Its just a matter of preference. They BOTH got very good reviews from women who have bought them and left reviews before I even ordered them. As well as here in Posh.

Do these pull on like regular undergarments? Also how tight are the legs? I usually don't like tight elastic on my thighs so I wear boy shorts that don't give me indentations. It would seem counter productive to flatten the tummy and make my legs bulge out. Lol @katzkoz

@pammalla Ha ha! Now, that would be a site! No....not tight on the legs, hence the lace part. Yes, they pull on like regular panties. They will be tight at first, which you would want them to be to hold Ur tummy in, which does a great job, btw! Then, Ur body will conform. All in all, I think they're pretty comfy & haven't heard anyone complaining about them at all!

@shirlme My waist is 28" and I wear a size 6 jeans. U said U wear a size 6....then U would wear a medium. But then U said Ur waist is 32" then U would wear XL. If Ur 33"+ an XXL would be better. But if Ur going by waist size and trying to slim down from a 32" the XL would fit. It will be very snug at 1st, as they all are, but Ur body accomodates to it.

@cushman_closet Ha ha.....no, of course not. This does not help you lose weight. Only Ur eating habits and exercise can Help U there. This, like all other waist trainers "trains" Ur Waist to conform . Once U put it on, it will be very snug. But after wearing it awhile, Ur wIst will adjust.. It also helps smooth out Ur lines if Ur wearing a tight dress, helps me w/back pain by putting less stress by having a protruding stomach. Works for me!

I really like the first picks with the pink. Are those high waisted? I want the ones more like underwear- no high waisted ones. I'm a small size 4/6, closer to the 4 and I'm short & petite. @melaniecrodgers They have been adjusted to US sizes. So, if U order a Small...the only difference is, Ur tag will read Medium. If U order a Medium, tag will say Large, etc.... I adjusted to the actual US sizes.
If U're a size 4, I would think U'd want a Small. Im a size 6 & I take the Medium (my tag says Large)

@melaniecrodgers Some how...,I JUST KNEW U were THAT type of person who loves Animals! Yep....there's 4 new kittens outside with their mom....her 3rd litter. So, after this hurricane, if they're OK, she's getting fixed. I'll pat for it, I don't care. Hate to see her that way again. But, MY kitties...all 6 ..are freaking out. They see the kitty carriers ready to go. But, 3pm tomorrow, we will know to evacuate the beach.

Wow, I have six also!! Lol 😂. And yes my stress level is off the charts. My doc has me on 6 meds including Prozac, 2mg Xanax, Seraquil you name it. I have to have it right now to stay sane as I married the Devil. Then of course I'm not lucky enough to have just one major thing to deal with--more like 4 things all bad. But dammit I'm staying positive, smile & I'm a Hell of a fighter just tired of it, be glad when it's all over!!!!!!!!!

Yeah the seraquil is quite the tranquilizer. And I would be glad he's gone for good also. I live in KS now but from OK & my Dad is building a new house for me on his property--has lots of acres in the woods and being I'm 1st born I'm a Daddy's girl & he's a Vietnam war vet & I can't tell you how many times I've seriously had to stop him from killing mine & will if the jerk steps a foot on his property. Honey you gotta figure where you can go to be safe & take the kitties case it's really bad!!

But, if Ur like me, I use it to kind of lift whats just sagging a bit from age. THAT WORKS FOR ME. Plus, it keeps my tummy in which helps my back out greatly.

I'm usually a size 6, 27-28 Waist and wear the Medium (tag says large).But if Ur tummy is a little bit larger from the baby, U may want to start with the Large (tag will read XL). But, if Ur planning on losing the weight, then the Medium.

Uve seen those pictures of the women with tiny, tiny waists...well, this wont do that.
For that, U have to get one of those lace up ones.
These R really for a slimming bodycon shape. It dies train Ur waist to the effect of how long U want to wear it.
