cali1018 @gmato2girls hey doll, anything that isn't solid gold has the potential of turning if not taken care of but this one has one of the best chances of lasting a long time because it's gold filled not gold plated so it's got a layer of white gold to protect it. If you take care of it it can last you a very long time. I've had mine two years and it has yet to turn. Hope this helps. White gold filled is way different and better then plated as plated will turn for sure

cali1018 @gmato2girls sorry I was doing twenty things while answering your questions. If you take care of white gold filled it actually can last for a very long time. I'm not really careful with any of mine but they have been in perfect condition for over two years so that kinda tells you if you were better than me which isn't saying much lol then it can last a lot longer. For the price it's hard to beat. The next jump is the white gold which raises the price so much higher. Hope this helps
