@blythe8blythe she is not 47, but I still think it would be very pretty on a variety of ages. It is a a flattering dress that is not revealing but not super conservative either, which I feel also makes it age appropriate for many ages too, and in my opinion is a great quality in a dress. The pictures are an exact representation of the dress. But it also just depends on your style too!
