Great Shakespeare adaptations: Walter Dean Myers's Street Love, E.K. Johnston's Exit, Pursued By A Bear, Michelle Ray's Falling for Hamlet, and Robin Talley's As I Descended! Not sure about oppression books, but if you tell me what you read/like, & I'll do some research! Sorry this is long!
