Hi! I'm Carrie. I live, work and play in beautiful colorado. Came here 21 yrs ago to ski and have been here ever since. Love the "colorado style" and colorado silver and turquoise. I have many pieces I've purchase all over the SW but lots more that I have hand made. I've taken silversmithing classes and beading and enjoy it all. Also lapidary and rockhounding. I have had big issues with LOW BALLING and making ridiculous ( sometimes more than half) offers on items and need to address the issue without sounding MEAN.... because I'm really not! LOL

missmandylee @coloradocache Although annoying, there are some strategies to deal low-ballers. I'm not an expert but these few things worked for me. Be upfront with your buyers by posting YOUR closet rules like 10% Off Bundles of 2+ & you accept reasonable offers. Also, when a low offer is sent to you decline it, counter with your closest lowest accepted price & stick to your rules. Some buyers think this is a Saturday morning garage sale. Ha! After a while, it'll taper off.

We are making $$$ for them, and unfortunately - so are the un compliant poshers that don’t obey the rules. ( I just re checked on 3 that i reported weeks ago and today they are still up and running with a BIBLE, a chest of drawers, toys, curling irons-and dvds and one even had multiple TV sets!🙀 Im just hoping to make a difference and have us ALL play by the same rules so we can All be Happy Poshers. 😘

coloradocache @wrforrest oh gosh - i was hoping you would know! I get four or 5 every day and it says “you’ve been matched with so and so and style them fresh m your closet”. I have no idea how to do that and I’ve asked PM and they do not reply so i just drop a note. Although u and i seem to have similar taste😜.

wrforrest I have been asked to style someone if that's what you mean by being matched?? To style someone it means to go to their style card see their sizes and likes. Then you share items to them from your closet.. I have done that if that's what you are referring to.

wrforrest I don't have much clothing at all. So I tell them that and share 5 or 6 jewelry items.. I have only one sale from styling!! They are usually looking for clothing and shoes. I prefer to shop myself and not asked to be styled as I never get sent anything I would wear!! lol!!

Well to answer your question ( that I respond to differently at different times) it’s hard not to be offended I know. I have actually tagged them on the YES-MAYBE-or LOWBALL chart and explained that NO ONE likes to be lowballed. And some times they reconsider and make a reasonable offer and then we make a sale.

coloradocache @wrforrest I had to continue. I have also tagged them on the chart that shows how much PM takes on a sale. And sometimes I just ignore the offer. Just all depends. Seems like it is the newbies to PM don’t you think.? Sometimes I even mark up so we have wiggle room to make a deal. One of my PFFS told me she sets the rules ( posted) and sticks to them and eventually it will slow down, wishing you much luck and success. Grandsons wedding on Sunday 11-4 then Shooting in nightclub in our hometown, Then fire in hill where we used to live- then NoCal fires- so we got out early and traveled to las vegas and another wedding of nephew and then deleting Tucson from our travels, zoomed home to Co. Cont.

News depressing this morning with more fires in San Gabriel mtn area where i grew up! I cry for my beautiful home state. My husband is retired Ventura Co fire dept- 29 yrs service and devotion to our state. My heart breaks for all who lost families and homes. Beyond sad and emotional.

And as we were driving down PCH Hwy1, i commented on how ugly wooden telephone poles and power lines are- wires and cords going along in front of multi million dollar properties! Why aren’t they underground AND i would think would be so much safer! Poor PARADISE. My heart hurts. Ok back to trying to find your bundle❤️

msleslied1 Carrie: I moved from CA to OR 6 weeks ago, so upside down and now room being re modeled...so shut down for a couple weeks, doing little but still making sales! Nothing great..I just bought 3 pr of Sorel boots in great shape at great deals...I love posh for that..I live in No OR, Lots of Rain, NEEDED boots, go look, boom, exactly what I needed from 3 different sellers. coloradocache @msleslied1 Yes MELLOW so far but possible snow on TG day. I love it. I have a dear sweet friend who lives in SALEM Oregon. Beautiful little town. We visited them 2 times and loved it. About 20 miles from coast. She loves bea h and goes almost every day after work. Tillamouk Vhres factor near and Nat American Casinos there too! She takes beautiful photos to share. Are you in that area?

sehenkel Hi Carrie, when I took this piece to the jewelers they verified yes it was a diamond. They could not find what carat weight the gold was because it’s so small. But they did say because it was a diamond it was most likely 14 karat gold, maybe 10. But for sure she said they wouldn’t set a diamond in anything but Real gold. Thanks for asking. Stephanie. 💍

I love it- i love the sky blue color and special-stones from Kingman mine and the Lost Boy mine here in Co. but i have also read the “green turquoise” is the more expensive. I guess its all personal preference. . 😜

coloradocache @rosemastellone no problem- but Ive been doing PM for 3 yrs and things change constantly. I was sharing and somehow hit a bundle option. In your account section- you choose how many items constitute a bundle and what percentage you want to discount a bundle. And to me- one item is not a bundle so i don’t do that anymore. ☺️ if u discount 30% then 20% for PM fees- it ends up 1/2 your asking price. 😂 Hope this helps.

Your closet is beautiful- well photographed and competitive prices. Only suggestion i have is adding followers. Not to worry about having more “following” than “followers” either. If u see a closet with huge following- open “followers” and tap on 25 a day! Or more if u can handle it. Also go to NEW PEOPLE and FOLLOW 20-40-60. Happy New Year- Happy Poshing!

rosemastellone Carrie, I have a question about Bundles and have emailed PM, but still am confused. You taught me that sometimes a bundle is created by error, perhaps by clicking the incorrect tab. I have several times this has happened and then send the Buyer a comment and they usually don’t respond. Continued in next comment:

rosemastellone In fact, you were the only person to explain what happened. So, when there’s only 1 item in a Bundle and I have sent the interested Buyer a comment and they don’t respond, I ignore the Bundle. However, PM says Buyers create Bundles with 1 item to get free shipping. I’ve asked PM to explain why is called a Bundle and they said it’s ok with 1 item. I don’t offer free shipping because I keep my prices low. Is this all ok?😞🐶

Whats annoying to me and counterproductive to us, is that even if pep do a “bundle” and automatically get 15-20% off purchase price- they will even make a low ball offer on top of that. Very rarely if ever is a buyer satisfied with percentage off price. Only thing i have figured out is to Price high- then accept 50% off. 🤪
