korofino @darmisdarling 🌻No, just visually pleasing from a design perspective. Although the Hamsa and Elephant add Symbolic Significance. I don't know if you are into Essential Oils, but this can be used with, as the Lava Stones are slightly porous so they hold the scent🌸 Just add a drop on a bead. Also oil is included.
