But this time of yr rolls round, I get very melancholy/loneliness takes my heart 💞2 memories of R childhood shared! He was even at the birth of both my kids! I was BLESSED 2 have him! The pain was so intense when he passed that I prayed for some relief. He used to write songs and I can still listen to his voice. I miss him so much.

My fiancé and I lost both of our dads that same day exactly 12 hours apart and going to 2 funerals that same weekend was something I didn't think I could make it through. You said your brother liked to sing and so did my dad. He loved playing the guitar and singing. I know one day we will be reunited. He was a very godly man. I miss him every day

Although my heart is broken over both sometimes the loss of my brother hurts the most. I don't think we ever had a cross word, he was an amazing accepting person who always could turn a frown upside down and never judged. He was only only 48 and the world is definitely not as bright without him.

He was home at my sister's and never stopped cracking jokes and ribbing us right up to the end. He was full of love and laughter. alockart I know your pain and I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 5 months ago yesterday. He is my hero, he was my biggest supporter, my biggest cheerleader, and the only man I have ever looked up too. No one I have ever met or ever will meet could live up to his righteousness. My children’s only papa. I miss him so much, still can’t hang a picture of him, because I don’t want to face it! Know you’re not alone, but it seems that we share the same great experience...we had great dads!!!

upscalehippie I think sharing about your grief really does help. I lost my best friend in the world four months ago. The dancing part hit home for me as the last time I saw her was her wedding where I was her MOH. In May I gave her wedding toast and in November her eulogy. Many thoughts to you and to all who experience the deep grief of loss.

They miss him soooo much as do we all. Even tho itsnow been 12 years it seems like yesterday. I just had to comment on this..im sure you miss your dad just as much.
