Been working the whole time. Finally planning taking July 3 RD off as my first vacation day. So sorry about upcoming surgeries for you. Please keep me updated on email so I can pray for you.

5starfinds @gatorgurlr6 no sorry. I mean I wasn't able to work from home so had to go on disability. If you can work from home telephonically then you retain your regular benefits ( medical dental etc in the state of CA is 2k monthly our cost once 89 days). I didn't know that and had to go back to work even though wasn't ready because I would have starved

5starfinds @gatorgurlr6 if you don't have to do FMLA, just take a few PTO days and then work from home with leg up etc. if you are able to do that then you continue to accrue PTO , get regular pay etc and no count down to cobra

5starfinds @gatorgurlr6 look up FMLA in state of Fl . It is typically time off unpaid. But you are allowed to keep your benefits for 12 weeks which is almost the same as 89days. FMLA is not paid at regular pay. If FL has state disability, that pays at a better rate and then also if you pay for 70% disability pay, it will kick in. Don't worry you have lots of options. I got state disability. Are you still breathing??? I am worried now. 🙏🌸🌺💕🌻🌈. It will be fine. Knowledge is power.

gatorgurlr6 @mariabessem I had FMLA and LTD last time I broke my arm. I was here in GA where I am now. I got like 70% of my income and kept my job. Not really worried that anyone wants it. I figure it will be like last time. Haven't really worried about any of it. It's just a bump. Need a new car. Will work and pray through it all. It will all work out. It always does!

5starfinds @gatorgurlr6 see your LTD is what pays you the FMLA protects your job and also the benefits at same cost. Sorry keep putting you in wrong state. I didn't have FMLA Because I wasn't one year on the Job. But I didn't know about the 3 month mark for COBRA. That Was a shocker. I don't know how anyone can pay that. Sorry to stress you out.
