karenpaulovich @nycgrits Taj Good Morning where do you live now? I am in Mtn Brk. Yes you can take the person out of Alabama but you can’t take Alabama out of the person. just gets under your skin. Bama is just BAma! We love OUR football. Of course, I have never lived any where else but I am Proud of Alabama. A state where we have compassion for each other. nycgrits @karenpaulovich I’m in NYC-my husband’s hometown and a city so different from home that it may as well be a different country. I cope, but often find myself longing for home. I’ll be visiting my father in Mobile after Christmas so I’m excited and looking forward to being back in Alabama. Mobile is not as beautiful as Birmingham, but it will have to do for now. :-) Thank you so much for chatting with me. You’ve brought a true smile to my heart. 💕

karenpaulovich @nycgrits So happy but you will be a SHINING STAR in NYC. NYC needs a SHINING ALABAMA GIRL to let them know what they are missing. I love Mobile. Just being in Alabama will rejuvenate your Alabamaism to return to NYC. I went to Atlanta today. I call it leaving the Continental United States when we cross the border. LOL So be that STAR among all the snow flakes in NYC. But you know your heart is always in Alabama.
