I'm searching for a pair (or two) of great jeans that fit me! I'm looking in the ladies 6/8 size range (27-28). I have supper skinny legs, and would love a pair that show them off. Feel free to leave me your opinions on your favorite brands! Don't be shy, tag your closet if you have something I might love. Thanks so much! Jayne๐ŸŒธ

crzyfacegrl Try Levi's

jerlgirl @erileit OMG Erin, I haven't bought jeans in two years. They just aren't a staple for me. I'm still reeling from fitting in smaller jeans. One pair was a size 4! It's weird, but it's actually scary buying small clothes. I'm biting the bullet though and am ready to buy some. I need a pair that doesn't fall down when I walk, lol! ๐ŸŒธ

jerlgirl @crzyfacegrl Thanks! I know in tops Levi's run small, do the jeans as well?
Nov 28Reply
crzyfacegrl
crzyfacegrl No. go to a Levi's store or outlet and they will fit you in the style that fits and looks the best on you.

limabean33
limabean33 Lucky, Express, and Silver brand jeans work best on me. Tall and with skinny legs. Best part is none of them shrink in length. I have a few in my closet as well, check it out โ˜บ

erileit
erileit @jerlgirl I hear ya! I'm in a 2 now! But if you see some stuff, tag me and I can help you:) I have some stuff too actually that I haven't put up yet. But, if u have skinny legs, then go with skinny jeans or leggings and show them off!

jerlgirl
jerlgirl @erileit Thanks hon, I looked last night and all I can find in the right size are bootcut. The few skinny jeans I found are low rise and that won't work well for me. (My booty is in the front, lol, and I need a mid rise to cover it. I need "flat butt, relaxed gut" jeans!) I am having problems seeing myself as smaller. When I look in the mirror, I still see a larger lady. Girl, you don't need to get any smaller. You are beautiful! But I understand the stress diet. Take care of yourself please. ๐ŸŒธ

cantabrigiana I have a pair of Lucky jeans in my closet... They're a little cropped so if you're especially tall maybe not...but they're new!

kittiflash
kittiflash My favorites are American eagle, because I have a small waist and a booty! Lol and silver brand! The American eagle I get are more of a relaxed fit, while the Silver brand I wear because they make my shape look amazing!

jerlgirl @cantabrigiana Oh thanks! I'll check those out. I appreciate it!๐ŸŒธ

jerlgirl @dmarie44 That's so fantastic! Good for you! I'm not really at my goal either and have hit a plateau, but I'm sure it will just take time. I know you can reach your's too! Feel free to drop me a note if you ever need encouragement, because I totally get it. I appreciate the jean info more than you can know. Jayne ๐ŸŒธ

jerlgirl
jerlgirl @kittiflash Thanks so much for the input! I may have the opposite problem though, no booty and a little pot belly - the "frontal booty"! Lol. I will check into those brands though. I live in a smaller town and sometimes it's hard to fine the better brands, but I'm hopeful! ๐ŸŒธ

cantabrigiana
cantabrigiana @jerlgirl sweet! And thanks for all the shares :) I can give you a discount on those jeans if you are interested since you were specifically looking for them, maybe "Lucky" $13 instead of $20 ๐Ÿ˜‰

khaygood6425
khaygood6425 My weight varies. I love my Loft High Waisted Skinny! You may also try Buckle. Thy are very good about recommending styles and sizes to fit your body. Remember the more spandex content the more they stretch through out the day so start the day with your jeans snug.
Nov 29Reply
jerlgirl
jerlgirl @cantabrigiana Aww, you are the sweetest! I think that particular cut is going to be big in the legs on me though. My legs are freakishly skinny and even the 10" ankle opening is loose, so I'm afraid to go with a 14" opening. But I appreciate it more than I can say! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season! Jayne ๐ŸŒธ

jerlgirl
jerlgirl @khaygood6425 See, I wouldn't have thought of that! Thanks for letting me know about the spandex. I own lots of jeans (that I need to list, lol) but seldom wore them in recent years. They are mostly vintage, lol! I tend to wear skirts/skorts in the summer and leggings in the winter. I am getting a much needed education! I hope you have a fabulous holiday season! Jayne ๐ŸŒธ

mkfigeley
mkfigeley Congrats on the weight loss! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am tall with long skinny legs. For our body type, I think skinny jeans with some stretch (so they conform to your shape) are the best bet. My favorites are Paige Peg Skinny (if you are size 6, I would try 28 or 29) and Joe's jeans (same waist size). Good luck!! ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŽ€

khaygood6425
khaygood6425 @jerlgirl I am also a big fan of legging/jeggings in the colder month, I layer them with dresses and boots instead of tights. I have 2 colorful pair in my closet. I kept an Orange pair for my personal use๐Ÿ˜œ
Nov 29Reply
jerlgirl
jerlgirl @mkfigeley Thanks for the suggestion! Do you know if those come in different inseams? I'm not very tall but I have long legs and I need 31-32" inseams depending on the fit. Most of what I am seeing is 29" inseam. Are jean styles just getting a lot shorter?
Nov 29Reply
mkfigeley
mkfigeley Skinny jeans and jeggings are shorter than straight-leg, boot-cut and other styles, so if you've been trying on a bunch of skinny jeans lately, you are likely to be discouraged with how short they are. I need a 31" or 32" inseam in skinny jeans, and nothing worked for me!! I tried and tried tons of brands until I found the Paige Peg Skinny jeans and the Joe's Skinny jeans. I think you will like both of these if you have a similar inseam and skinny legs. Good luck!! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‰

Nov 30Reply
jerlgirl
jerlgirl @mkfigeley Honey, I wish I could say I was tall. I'm 5'3" on a good day. Short body, short arms and long legs. When I was little people would ask "what do you want to be when you grow up"? I always said "tall"...lol. But the jean length is spot on for me! Thanks! ๐ŸŒธ

vegasgirl44
vegasgirl44 Hi there- just thought I'd put my two cents in ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Personally, I love the Rock Star jeans & jeggings from Old Navy. I also dropped quite a bit of weight recently and find them to fit well, don't stretch out of shape and are affordable (plus Old Navy always seems to be having some sort of sale going on) Good luck on your jeans search and congrats on the weight loss! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š

jerlgirl
jerlgirl @vegasgirl44 Thanks so much for responding! Congrats on your recent weight loss too. I appreciate your input more than you know. Jeans aren't the inexpensive item that they used to be and I want to make the right investment, lol! Old Navy is on my list of places to go and try on jeans, then I'll see what is available on Poshmark. Thanks for stopping by, Happy Holidays to you! Jayne ๐ŸŽ„โ„๏ธ
