For this particular dress it's hard to measure exactly where the hip and waist would be because it depends on your height and how the dress would fit. I tried my best but it's approximately 50" possible hip area for XL. Waist is 47". For the large it is about 2-4" smaller all around. I hope that helps. 😊

dbuehr I'd like to purchase this dress but I'm still little bit confused on sizing 🤔 I measured 46 around just & 42 around hips. NOT how full the dress is? It looks to drape nicely & that's what I'd like What size would you suggest I'm thinking xxl?

lovemskyoto @dbuehr xxl sounds like it would be a great fit. It's hard to measure this dress for hip size because it's hard to tell where the hips would be due to the shape of the dress. It is very flowy and would drape nicely.
