@meskellys So Kelly ... Quick Hazel story. Two weeks ago I was traveling to my new job. It's a temp.job for 3 months. So like I told you B4 I named my new kitten Hazel. A guy pulled out in front of me ( Iowa country road) and I slammed on my breaks ... Lost control of the vehicle & we rolled over and over about 800 ft down an embankment.

@meskellys When the truck stopped rolling, I couldn't get out of my truck. I looked at the passenger seat & Hazel's crate was broken & no Hazel . A passer by called 911. All I was worrying about was her. !!!

@meskellys So the firefighter got me out & EMT was checking me out, and I was just yelling for Hazel. I had 6 people looking in 4 foot grass land for her. Nothing :(
They towed my truck & me away. The police took me to get a rental car. I then drive to the yard where my totalled truck was.

The lady said : I hear a cat crying. Then her husband said . It's coming from the driver side floor.

@meskellys So here I go busting my hands up pulling away plastic. The lady brought me some tuna fish.
Then Hazel stuck her nose out, and I just broke all the debris away from her. She doesn't even have a scratch on her !! Me, I'm busted up w a herniated disc in my neck . But Hazel lived & I thank our Merciful God !!

@kh6861 OH MY GOSH KIMBERLY!!!! I am at work crying my eyes out and everyone wants to know what happened!! Im so glad to hear Hazel is A okay but holy smokes. I have also suffered catastrophic back injury PLEASE take ALL the time you can to heal you will only have one chance to do so.... I have recovered 100% 2 discs L 4 L5 bilateral herniations 8mm displaced my nerve endings to my legs I AM A MIRACLE!!! Like Hazel.

@kh6861 NO SURGERY!!! a Chiropractor begged me to opt out promised he would make me feel better than i had in 10 years i swing a golf club and a baseball bat today i throw 400 cases a beer every week Im 52 years old my injury was 2010. didnt sit down for 2 years though.

@cpcam5 she has a behavioral issue she likes to suck her paws when she feels nervous (which is often) when she looks up that is what we get. It actually has gotten better since we got her anxiety meds. she is the sweetest dog serious damage had already occurred before I got her. she is my baby!! Thanks for saying HI!!

He would do bad things like run around with toilet paper and then growl and take you to all the bad things he did 😂😂 like “yep I did that and I want you to know I don’t care!” 😂 I hope you keep posting pics of Hazel! @amp3510 my poor dog has been chewing herself from fleas this season every time she looks up she has that look on her face lolo had to get an inflatable cone to stop it nothing is helping her this year I have gotten rid of the fleas but the aftermath is still taking its toll her been unusually hot this year a school had to close for a flea infestation yikes

I have resorted to putting boots on her every time we go out I cannot afford apequel 3 bucks a pill and it didnt seem to stop her scratching she is allergic to the grass. the boots have been the best so far doctor gave her a shot for allergies on Monday but I have just kept the boots on her til she recovers from surgery jic it doesnt work i dont want her to be itching and in pain

Hi! It appears I have been following you but apparently I've never actually seen your closet! I'm so glad you shared your 3X swimsuits cause they sure peaked my interest! I can't stop clicking likes! @sklemoine311 Hazel Hazel Hazel. my high strung neurotic dog that nobody wanted so I vowed to keep her when I was a foster home, she had some itching behaviors that were not allergy related, she scratched behind her ear so much for so long she burst her blood vessels in her ear and she hasn't scratched her ears since!!! which I find even more strange as she had done it for 6 years prior to that,,,,, go figure. I think that surgery was 2 years ago.

@sklemoine311 actually no, what we think is that the doctor decided to try apaquel (however you spell it) because there was visible reasons for her behavior, I in fact took her to the vet every couple of months thinking she had an ear problem, oh yes and she would not stop sucking on her feet I mean intense chewing full paw in mouth,, She also was marking everything in sight because we moved into my sisters house and she had 3 dogs . cont.....

@meskellys gotcha! Yes apoquel is for “allergies” prob because she was messing with her feet! It’s horrible in FL with no winter to kill fleas and allergies are so bad for a lot of fur babies!!

@sklemoine311 She refused to go any where the other dogs had been which meant I had to take her out front to go potties, If I put her on the grass she would jump off frantic.... So i too was thinking she has allergic issues. so I agreed to the apoquel with all of the information put together... Well it didnt work in fact the itching scratching got worse til she ruptured her blood vessels...cont...

@sklemoine311 since having had the operation we have changed our personal health habits at home and we walk 2-3 miles everyday with our dogs, and I believe what the problem was for Hazel is she has an excessive amount of energy that manifested in nervous behaviors because I was not taking her out like she needed. She has no problem with the grass now I dont know why but we do not give her apoquel either.

@madelrv My sweet girl has recovered from that surgery but has since had her eyes removed. It’s been 1.5 yrs now. She adapted without a hitch! I think she must have been losing her eye sight gradually prior to surgery and that is why she even navigates up stairs to the door! She is a trooper.
