I have been looking for over the knee boots in a stretchy polyester. I don't like those tie strings at the top because they are uncomfortable to sit down in and snag on things. As these are synthetic, do they have any give or stretchability to them? Can you tell me what size calf will they accommodate and how big around at the top? I might just be able to take out the strings and solve my problem that way. Thank-you.
