briannastull @koukla7 The pic is hilarious but more important, love the concept of closet rules. I have a 2 or 3 instances of other Poshers being disrespectful. Just yesterday, someone wrote on a pair of JCrew earring I had posted for $15 that the same earrings were cleared for $10 at JCrew stores. Why? That's where ai got them but I had to drive 2 hours for shopping trip. After the 20% and gas, I wouldn't even make money. I so dislike drama and wish we could delete comments like that!

The pic was inspired by my four plus one little "sweet" angels! 😇 haha 😂...I think that the people that comment or do similar things like that aren't serious about Posh or know/realize that some of us do this as our living or attempting to set it up as our living-not just a little extra. &/or they are just dumb 🙈😳. saltedmermaid @briannastull What bothers me the most is people not reading post descriptions or closely looking at photos and then giving poor reviews. I call them out when that happens. Maybe not the most professional way to point things out by doing it in comments in front of all the fellow Poshers, but there is no recourse with Posh if someone leaves you a poor review & they shouldn't have. There should be a way to delete comments and have private conversations with others & buyers. (2/2)

briannastull @koukla7 I so agree! I sold a new bag at a low price bc the girl really needed a break. I chose to send it in one of big $20 Kate Spade boxes and wrote her a nice note. She was happy with the price but she left a horrible review bc I used the box & it wasn't pristine when delivered. (wasn't part of the deal) so she wrote about that and said it was unethical that I had written a joke about Maybe needing a break someday & I should held accountable. You should read it.

briannastull @koukla7 I'm in KY. In my 3rd year of college. My mom (who really isn't that old) had a stroke and retired from a career she loved. We both work on Posh stuff to help pay for college fees and spending money so I'm One of those "need Posh" people too. saltedmermaid @briannastull I'm sorry to hear about your mom. The struggle is real! We are def all in it. I myself have massive student loan debt and never got a job teaching. I live on the north fork of Long Island. It's beautiful wine country! (The opposite fork of the hamptons) Its so expensive to just live 😐. I'm hoping to turn Posh into a full-time thing!! (1/2)

briannastull @koukla7 oh, I just meant that she helps me. She pays for merchandise when we find it on sale really, really good, helps with packing and delivery and if I have a big exam, She will help with my shares. I try to share at least 500 items a day. I'm a Posh Mentor but I had a couple people help me about 6 months ago. I didn't have more the 3-4K followers and just didn't know a lot of stuff.

briannastull @koukla7 I have a PFF who writes a great blog about Posh topics - very short important to know articles that helped a lot as well. You can tag or ask me anything and I'll do my best to help! For me, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, MKors and Lilly Pulitzer lsell best. Other people have more success with other items. Just make sure you take advantage of clearance sales and even garage sales.

The past 10 years she travelled all over the country, training teachers at their home schools. It was hard work and long hours but she says it was just fun. And it paid much better. Lol

briannastull @koukla7 I'm not usually chatty but I didn't tell you about wholesale. I've just started but a lot of people have success selling items from Posh's boutiques. Even if you're not ready to buy wholesale, you should look at what all is offered. I waited until I had a couple of hundred dollars in sales and instead of transferring it out, I invested it in just a few choices from 2 boutiques. My stuff came in today so I hope to get more pics & list some tonight & tomorrow. I'll tag you!

briannastull @koukla7 Because I made this mistake, I feel comfortable in telling you not to email them Again. They have someone that takes care of pretty much just suggested users. I know they have changed the process and it shouldn't take you more than a couple months if your closet is completely Posh complaint. But you will get there! You're awesome!

briannastull @koukla7 Just be sure your closet is compliant and work on stuff like being a top 10 sharer, seller, having a 5.0 or closet rating. Being a seller for close to a year, those are some things they look at. The blog or even Posh's material on here will give you the actual regulations. I know it's hard to be patient though. I was the same way! ❤

saltedmermaid @briannastull lol! I'm pretty sure my closet is 100% Posh compliant!!! I've been sharing as much as possible and I have close to a 5 rating. Someone gave me two stars because they felt I didn't ship it fast enough for her 😒(it was a few days to go out) ....even after I accepted her low ball bid and then I had to pay $12 on top to ship because it was so heavy. I was so upset. Thanks for the words of encouragement!!!!!!

When you think about the amount of people on Posh, you realize that there will always be "those people" that want something for nothing, scammers, lowballers and ones that will complain about anything.

With the rise in new members over the past 6 months, becoming a SU takes several months, but they will contact you thru your e-mail with your letter! But, one way that I have found to have less of an audience when talking with a PFF is to go on one of my sold listings. Sold listings are usually at the bottom of everyone's closet and most people don't go in to read the comments bc it's sold. Sorry this was so long, but I just wanted to see if I could help.

briannastull @nancydwrites have you emailed support? They typically don't do anything about ratings. I emailed them and a couple months later that score was removed. Idk if it's try but I've been told that if they remove someone or see all negative ratings from a buyer? They remove their ratings. Don't know if that's true. ❤

briannastull I'm off to school but will back on between classes and most of the evening. Comment on any listing you wish in my closet. You've obviously been really successful. I've asked other people to look at my closet. A couple did but most don't have time. I def understand that. I was told I needed to improve my cover shots so I'm slowly getting there. saltedmermaid @nancydwrites It's ok! I felt the same way! I haven't sold a ton yet. But yes there was one that gave me less and I nicely pointed out where she hadn't read the full description and then she updated her rating. She got a Christian Dior item for $14 NWT • It was pretty ridiculous.

I have a listing in my closet called "questions and good conversation". I have the graphic saved of course so I delete it all the time and then relist real quick.

But I will look again, and take my time. Now, one thing you do need to realize is everything is slow right now. When this happens you need to push your items more. I don't mean be pushy to other poshers. I mean share your closet several times a day or more.

cajt62 @koukla7 @briannastull Even if you just share like 4 or 5 items at a time. Have you noticed if you share a bunch of items right in a row it doesn't always list them separately on the feed? It will group them together and say something like @cajt62 shared items from her closet. Which means others would have to go in and look. I feel like most people are not going to do that. They are going to share and look at the individual listings.

cajt62 @koukla7 @briannastull So I suggest only sharing a few at a time or try to be slow at it. Share 4 or 5 items in-between each class for example. It sounds like y'all are sharing other closets items alot, so that is good. Share any graphics you have any sales or price cuts or advertising what brands or kinds of things you have in your closet. Just some ideas to draw attention to your closet especially for times like now when sales are down. Hoping it gets better very soon.

cajt62 @koukla7 yes, I live in Oklahoma😕. My hubby was born and raised here in Lawton/ Ft. Sill. I was raised in AZ. We lived in AZ for many years after he got out of the military but he didn't like it there bc the hunting and fishing is not as good there he says. Especially the hunting, so we ended up back here in Oklahoma, which I'm not crazy about. But this is where the kids and grandkids are and I have no plans on leaving them, lol.

They just bought a really large piece of land and a house. The whole tornado thing freaks me out though! They just put in an underground bunker!! Fishing and hunting is our go-to thing here on the north fork of Long Island! I love boating!!

Evidently it drew a lot of attention and she had really good results from it. So when I saw your cover shots were sideways, i didn't think a thing about it! It's whatever works.

cajt62 @koukla7 oh yeah, that is exactly what my husband wants is land in the northern part of Oklahoma. But where he wants to go is to far away from the hospital and I have a lot of medical issues. Plus I won't leave my Dr here. He has saved my life a couple times. I became his patient 10+ years ago, then he hired me to work for him and we are friends with him and his wife. I don't work there anymore bc I'm on disability now. But i don't trust another dr, lol.

saltedmermaid @cajt62 sorry about your med issues. I know exactly what you mean about not trusting another doc. I have been through that experience and wouldn't trust another either. I have done massive research just to make sure these docs know what the heck their doing!!! I finally found a pediatrician that I love for my kids. He's an old school doc and I had to beg him for my kids to become a new patients because he wasn't accepting any. Good docs are hard to come by.

saltedmermaid @cajt62 what time of the year do you notice you've sold most listings? Any brands you notice go quicker than others? Price points better than others? I'm a little upset about the increase in shipping fees. I know it's only .50 but it seems like so much more when you compare 6.49 to 5.95! Kind of makes the item that was already selling for nothing, not worth to buy.

cajt62 @koukla7 thank you sweetie. Good Dr's are very hard to find! And good surgeons and most important, good gyn's! I had a great one and then he left. Anyway, right now should be a great time to sell. Not sure what is going on. My personal opinion was bc we just had an election. Well I have gotten verification from 2 seasoned poshers who do this for a living, that retail slows down right after an election year.

saltedmermaid @wildtimetoys ok. Apple products use the same IOS system so it should be the same when using an iPhone or iPad. Click on the closet of the person you want to block 😬 then on the top right corner there should be a box with an arrow coming out of it that looks like the button you would hit to share something then it should give you a few options and one of them will be "block user." pattyb5563 @koukla7 I agree. I sold a bundle the other day. All NWT, NIB. The buyer rated me a 3 nd said that absolutely nothing fit. And Thats my fault how??? I all them oh too and block them. I don't need or any that kind of buyers.

pattyb5563 @koukla7 Be cautious with wholesalers. Just encountered 1 that is selling individual pieces for the same amount As the per PIECE price for 3 or more. When buyers look at the "SOLD" by fitering the seller gets a ridiculous offer under what they paid because the wholesaler is undercutting. Example: wholesaler has sold 1 piece to 4 individuals at $32. That just makes the 3 or 6 that someone else just purchased worth only what they paid for it or even worse, LESS

mfivebears @saltedmermaid Omg....I so totally agree with your pics, your closet rules....While I am not as popular as you or have the following you have, I do feel the need to take some tips from you and post something similar. I had a young kid, I believe purchase a shirt, which was only worn once to give me a 4 rating. I wanted to send a message asking him what was wrong with the shirt, but my son talk me out of it. Of course being new on Posh, my rating went from 5 to 4.9. I'm still bitter about it.
