These are a unique pair of collectors' item Neoprene Sandals by Rozae Nichols, head designer of Clover Canyon, based here in Los Angeles. The ankle straps are adjustable by heavy duty Velcro. Heel: 3.5". A very interesting pair of shoes & no longer in production (from Spring 2015 collection). These are being offered at a micro-fraction of their value, and the price is firm. thechicbohemian @briser71I believe they are -- they're marketed as being fairly true to size, though I'd guess with the STYLE of this one, you could get away with going the 1/2 deviation which helps you - up or down, depending upon whether you're a small 7.5 or between 7.5-8. Does that make sense? There's a sturdy velcro ankle fastening to secure your feet, or provide give.

thechicbohemian @onebirdscloset Good morning (here, at least)! Did you mean how WIDE the heel is, or how high it is? Either way, I likely won't be over to my inventory until much later today, and I ca take a peek for you. Most of the Clover Canyons with front wide neoprene straps should be a decent fit for you; in the case of the close-toed CC shoes, a small fraction of folks felt they run a 1/2 size small. I feel they're all true to size, personally, and I'm a runner. Thanks for asking. :)

thechicbohemian @onebirdscloset You're so sweet (and no pressure!). :) I'd been a runner for 25 years until last year; my left knee won't allow it anymore, SUPER-SADLY. So I begrudgingly do the elliptical, which does a different job, but it's nowhere like the experience of running on an open road, dreaming as you go. :/

figleafandwater @thechicbohemian UGH, that's my fear..i seem to reinjure my IT ban (knee & hip) often. I've done 2 halfs..never a full...i seem to get really sick to my stomach even after a 1/2. So I just recently rejoined a boot camp to hopefully build up more muscle...i run 3-6 miles 4x a week, nothing crazy but for me it's good. A friend of mine has messed up knees & thought she'd never run a race again, she's been building muscle & being careful & just ran another full marathon!... there's hope yet!😘

thechicbohemian @onebirdscloset I've been to a renowned orthopedic whose advice I respect, and as much as I've loved, love, loved, loved to run... Raquel... it 'aint worth it on your skeletal system. Nothing wrong at all with rehabbing your knee and stregthening your muscle, but for your hips and back (which had been affecting me too, actually), running is the worst exercise for your body, I've accepted. Better to swim, do the boring elliptical, climb stairs.... etc. My .02, for what they're worth.

toddthefox @thechicbohemian It is that! I love thunderstorms! Unfortunately, when we get them, we usually have tornadoes as well! My husband is from Los Angeles and we have a son in Vegas. So, we will go to Vegas first to see our newest granddaughter, then to LA. Then we will drop down to Phoenix to see his brother and sister and come back the I 10. We are taking our 17 year old son to see the Alamo. We usually take 21 days so we can take our time. It's always an awesome trip!

In the case with these ankle velcro-straps, I'd GUESS you could go a size up if your foot is on the wider side, or down of they're narrow. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I don't know which size you are, but please note I have only 1 more size 7 left; some other sizes are available in multiples. :)
