It's not big by any means (about 2 cm) but I wanted to inform you about this!! myhauntedheart @lbucalos I know, I am absolutely IN LOVE with them. I actually found them on Posh and haven’t been able to find them really since. I got mine for less than $50, but I saw some girl selling them on there for $150, so I’m not sure how expensive they normally are. I definitely soon am looking into making new creative sunglasses that will be similar to these, but have other “themes” , and can be more personalized to fit you! 👑

wrapitup_ @myhauntedheart Kindred spirit sort of thing. This happens to too many people. This spinal cord injury attack on me was a sexual attack by a stranger. Served a couple days I think… I don’t want to look into the lack of his punishment so that’s all I found out and moved to my recovery. You did serve though and thank you still! Glad you moved to AK! I have family there in Eagle River and was there in Sept and Nov last year. Never knew I would fall!

Yeah it’s really good for my soul to be in the wild, beautiful nature of Alaska, though the long, cold & dark winters can be pretty challenging. I struggle with depression and anxiety from my PTSD, so the winters are the hardest part for me. I get out for winter activities as often as I can and it’s still rough at times. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to stay here year-round forever! But I’m living it up in the meantime! 🥶❤️

amusinggrace @myhauntedheart my usual get aways Hawaii (because we have friends on diff islands with condos) and Vegas. We have a friend with a house in Vegas as well. I have not been to the strip since pre-covid. Hawaii is a non stop flight, unlike that, no layovers! If you’ve never been to Hawaii the cheapest to fly to is probably Oahu (my least favorite island,) I love Kuaii but it is pricey.

My college roommate and girlfriend married a Green Beret and her husband was just amazing and sent half his paychecks to his mother and family. I truly believe he was part saint. I used to go grocery shopping at the Commissary at Pearl Harbor and camera shopping at PH PC. No one equates PH with shopping, Lol. Military families are brave and dedicated souls. 😇

marymax999518 @myhauntedheart Wow I can’t imagine going to a place like Iraq and at a young age! I used to see the nightly news of the war there and I prayed for the Americans. One of my older brothers served in Vietnam and he and I used to write to each other once a week. He was 21 and luckily survived unharmed physically. Thank you again for your courage and dedication

myhauntedheart @marymax999518 I was in a few roadside bombs and mortar attacks but was very lucky to come out of them mostly unharmed physically, with only the PTSD that still affects me. I am always very grateful that the damage wasn’t more severe. I have had a blessed life and a wonderful support system to help. And wonderful people like you certainly always help bring beauty and joy to my path through this life. Thank you! 🙏🏻❤️

The GB I knew in Honolulu had suffered from many nightmares. 🙁 I didn’t mention earlier but one of my older brothers was stationed at an Army base in Alaska. I can’t recall which one as I was in First Grade, my brother was 16 years older. He purchased an Eskimo doll for me which I treasured. Happy Holidays to you and your family

Polk, Louisiana after getting back from Iraq, and have since lived in Las Vegas, NV and Austin, TX, which is where I moved up here from. I do enjoy the warmer weather, but there is just something about the beauty and serenity of the mountains and wilderness here in Alaska that really touches my soul.

Every night about 5pm the lion roared for his dinner(no kidding) and I thought I hope he doesn’t escape especially at dinner time. I lived one block away from Waikiki on Kuhio Ave. I was a college student then. Univ of Hawaii used to rent out Dormitory rooms to tourists during the summer at a substantial discount! They also have Faculty Housing they rent out! Check on their website!!
