carolynnk8Another posher and I had a long discussion yesterday about that Hermes cashmere pareo. We don’t think it’s authentic. The seller is trying to say it’s heat stamped. Which from my understanding, would never be done to cashmere, they only to do to leather bags. And shouldn’t the side tag be in French and English? It keeps getting removed and reposted any time someone says anything negative. The seller is crazy and defensive about all comments. Just a warning. Sorry to butt in.

cookiefiend@carolynnanne8 - I saw those and also noted that she pulled that listing and relisted the same scarf for $200 less. It is definitely a fake. Hermes does not heat stamp their scarves, or use that tag. I’ve reported the listing 3 times now as a ‘replica’. It’s a terrible shame Posh allows blatant fakes to stay up. 😕

carolynnk8@cookiefiend agreed. I report it every time I see it back up. It is a shame they let her re-list so many times. I would think once something gets pulled for being fake, you shouldn’t be allowed to re-list that brand.

I never know if I should say something or not regarding the fake scarves… I was once trolled by someone who was selling a fake that I commented on and had to delete a listing and then re-list it. hondosloveHey there! Did you see the message that the fake Hermès seller left for us? I certainly didn’t think we were being rude...we were just being honest. The tag on the scarf screams fake! I didn’t want to say that b/c she could just remove the tag and try to say it’s authentic. I hate when sellers list fakes as authentic because they’re too lazy to take 5 minutes to research the differences in fake n authentic. Then a buyer comes along and spends hundreds on a worthless counterfeit piece of junk.

I closed my ‘closet’ because I didn’t want to go to the post office, but now that I have masks, and there’s a better protocol in place, I feel a little more confident about going out a little.

cookiefiend@hondoslove Sorry for the delay. The Offrandes d'Un Jour is Rose VIF/Jaune Fluro/vt de Gris. It has a softer feel than my salmon colored one - it feels like the new 'washed' scarves H is selling now. Ciels Byzantins is Gld/Raspb/Petrol - it's mostly a yellowy gold, with orange, raspberry and blues. There are no flaws that I'm aware of, but I haven't combed over them for the photos yet. I'm going to list the OdUJ at $300, and the CB at $250. Let me know if you're interested!
