@yappril I had to go to my local police station and do a report and also had to bring down the empty box ๐ฆ so I got the police report from my local police station now they faxed it to the Virginia Beach police department so I'm hoping is for her to go and pick it up at the post office to try and from the other lock her up I work for the police station myself so I know how to get around with these things โบ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐๐พ

@zeni1976 that is seriously so crazy! that is why i really don't like to trade because you def got lucky. but most of the time the package will get delivered in a trade and then we are stuck with nothing. i am so so so glad you are getting the package back. phew!

They will just make another profile. PM should be shut down for guilty by knowingly allowing counterfeit merchandise to be sold on their site in addition to allowing scammers to control operators.

i had almost the same thing happen to me a posher bought my purse and then said it was not as described which was not true!,she,ws,told to send it back and she sent me two 99c wallets and not my purse! i complained to poshmark and they returned my money, but did not close her account her close is kdv so beware of her to! she steals!

I'm afraid I'm running into a similar situation (for the first time). A girl bought a pair of jeans from me, which are brand new with attached tags, and is attempting to send them back claiming they are "not as described", which is farthest from the truth. I'm pretty certain they didn't fit her, so instead of losing her money, in afraid she will damage my item, take new photos to present as "evidence" to PM that the item is not as described. Awful people

Whenever I've called USPS (for other reasons), they've always been very unhelpful and unhappy people who seem to hate their jobs ๐ Did you ask them to not deliver the package, and if so, they actually listened to your request?

I got a purse on PM and recvd it yesterday. It doesnth look real. What is the first thing I should do to verify and then to report it?
Should I go to a retail store to verify authenticity there? Will they do that for me?
Is email the only way to contact Poshmark?
What is the first thing I need to tell them?
I was thinking of contacting bank not to release $.
Any advice?

If you strongly believe it is a counterfeit item i'd suggest you cancel the transaction with your bank they will charge you a 35$ fee for doing so (depending on the bank your with) but its better to be safe than sorry. If the value was 500 & above poshmark should authenticate it, so I suggest you contact them regarding this issue.
Otherwise, there are authenticators on the internet you can send them pictures to help you out! But they do charge a fee

@luvfitness report it to pm asap. Request a refund from PM. Be very clear the bag it is fake. (Take pictures of the obviously fake areas and up load them with your complaint and DO NOT ACCEPT THE BSG ON YOUR APP) Counterfeit handbags is illegal it is also illegal to sell it on the pm website. You could also reported to the police. if you paid by credit card you can also reported to the credit card company and dispute it with PM.

Iโve had a situation with a Buyer where I may have sent her two items including what she originally ordered, and I noted the post office of the circumstances as they where investigating time was passing by this has been over a year I still have her information and maybe I should contact the police Dept where the person is located. It really bothers me that it occurred and nothing has been resolved. The item is over a thousand dollars the principle of the whole outcome is dishonesty and greed.
