@moodtherapy Could you post a picture of someone modeling it (just the hand)? Also I did look up fire opals & they do all tend to have a orange or red back tint. Is this maybe a different type of opals. I have owned a few in my life & want to get the correct one. Thanks!!

Hello! You have beautiful jewelry 😊. The Opal in this ring isn't a fire Opal. Fire Opals are translucent and usually have no flashes in them. They're either orange, reddish or yellow. The opal in this ring appears to be a Precious or White Opal. Please don't be offended, as I'm only trying to help. I'm a GIA Certified Gemologist and study stones daily. For more information on the different types of Opals, geology.com is a great resource!

@sarajaneb the easiest way for you to do it would be to take a piece of string and wrap it around you finger then measure it. If you google “ring size conversion chart” you’ll be able to find out what size you are by the length of the string.
