erin_grubb Are these hoops difficult to open and close? I’ve purchased a similar item from a different seller and am not able to pinch the hoop closed again once it is in my cartilage. I have fairly sensitive ears, so i’m trying to make sure this won’t be a problem!

But I really think the gauge will have a lot to do with how easy it works.. 16 gauge might be a little difficult for some people to open and close, while 20 gauge would be easy to open and close.. Also it seems smaller diameter hoops are more difficult, like a 6mm hoop may be difficult, where 10mm in the same gauge would be much easier.. I hope some of that info helps.

moodtherapy @judy9059 Hello, I am pretty sure I can help you.. Do you know what gauge it was?? If not I would suggest 20 gauge. It can be used in place of any other gauge with no issues.. If the piercing is kinda low, and you want a snug fit I would suggest 6mm, or 7mm. They are both very small. When used along with 20 gauge will have almost a “dainty” look to it.
