moodtherapy @wicked79 do you know which cartilage piercing you have? Where on you ear is your piercing located? Also it depends on how you want it to fit. Some like it looser, I personally like mine to hug my ear. After you reply I’ll probably be able to recommend a gauge and size.

moodtherapy @katy233 ok so these come a standard size of 8mm. The gauge is the thickness. 20g is the same as a normal post on a regular earring. 18g is slightly thicker but generally will fit in a normal piercing without stretching. 16g is THICK-for stretched holes. Hope that helps! Xx

moodtherapy @maddie_c8 What size is in there now?The size will have a lot to do with personal preference. Do you want a smaller, snug fitting hoop, or would you rather have a larger hoop with a bunch of space between the hoop and your ear? If you don’t know which gauge I would suggest 20g. 20g can be used in place of any other gauge with no issues. To recommend a diameter I kinda need to know how close to the top of your ear it is.. Would a 6mm hoop reach that hole? Or would 7mm or 8mm be the smallest? Mike

maddie_c8 @moodtherapy currently i have my stud in. i kinda want a more snug hoop, because i feel like a looser one would get caught on my hair a lot. i would say probably a larger diameter hoop, because the piercing is right where my ear starts to “fold” over at the top (if that makes sense at all)

moodtherapy @stylestalker007 Hello. We cannot do titanium, sorry.. In 16 gauge, the smallest I can go is 6mm.. Which our 6mm hoops are tiny.... A 6mm hoop is roughly about the size of a pencil eraser.. If you want it that size, I would have to make you a custom listing real quick.. Mike

They are all 8mm in diameter, 22 gauge and 24 gauge are both super thin.. 20 gauge is very thin but not enough to be dainty. It is by far the most popular size we sell.. 18 gauge is thick but not very thick, and 16 gauge is very thick. It is the thickest we sell.. I hope that helps. Mike

pamjohnson260 Hoping for some advice before I order: I have a brand new helix piercing & want to wear a gold hoop close to the ear, wear in the shower and while sleeping, and rarely want to change it. I have no metal sensitivity that I know of, but do plan to wear one earring long-term. Would this earring do the trick, and would you suggest 6 or 8mm? And what gauge? Was thinking about 20 gauge so it would be comfortable & look dainty. Thanks in advance for your help!

moodtherapy @pamjohnson260 Hello, We have a ton of customers that buy these hoops, and pretty much just leave them in all the time. This hoop should do the trick for you. I think that you had the right idea about 20g. It’s thin enough to look dainty. As far as the 6 or 8mm. I think sometimes people don’t realize just how small 6mm is. It’s tiny. I think that 8mm would be much better in that spot.
