There is a difference between Valentino by Valentino Garavani (Carries Value) and Valentino by Mario Valentino (a brand found at Saks Off Fifth) quality & workmanship does not compare to workmanship and quality of a real Valentino.

beauty4less I just posted this too!!!! 😩 I purchased a bag under the Valentino brand on posh not knowing it was a Mario Valentino bag. I did my research and discovered this as well. There is a Brand for Mario Valentino on here and nobody is listing anything correctly. I posted an article as well. I'm so bummed.

shalinisjewelry @beauty4less thankfully Im pretty familiar with highend retail and knew it was not the REAL Valentino. I wonder if thr sellers themselves know too. I've seen Valentino By Mario Valentino at SaksOffFifth but not regular full price retailers. For the price the bag is good but not great quality. Dooney &Bourke is amazing quality.

jjennboymomof4 I am so glad this is being posted! I've emailed Posh about it too. They need to be listed correctly. I've seen so many unknowing buyers soo excited about to purchase their first Valentino....or so they think. I also believe there are a few honest sellers who were simply duped. It's sad.

elviratootsie Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani is more couture in the 1000's and Valentino by Mario Valentino is more in the 100's so there is a big difference but both great designers. Thanks for this information! Your post will help many buyers and sellers too! ;)
