@meboutique wow only 6 days home this year! You have me beat, Chica! I'm doing 1-2 trips a month but I do have 2 weeks home. I leave here on Thursday and then I'm home for 2 weeks then I'm off to Tahiti for 12 days! 6 work 6 play! Traveling to some very cool places this year!

We are in Tokyo for
The 26-1st, then Singapore from the 2nd until the 6th.. Then onto the vacation portion of the trip! Bali until the 13th. We will be at the Ritz Carlton in Nusa Dua for the first few days and then up to Ubud. What are your dates again? We were supposed to be going earlier but my clients had scheduling conflicts.

@meboutique hey Doll. The Ritz was way out of the price range. Budget was $200/night. I'll be there 12th-14th. I then travel to Jakarta on the 15th then back home on the 19th. How far is it from where you will be? It will be my first time to Bali so I don't know the area.

@dresslikeaboss I'm on the fence about PoshFest this year. Last year it was awesome because I was only 2 months on the platform. So, I don't know if I will get much benefit now that I've grown. Also, I have 1 domestic trip and 2 international trips in September...going on Safari on one so I may be too exhausted to really enjoy it because it will be the week after I get back from South Africa and Kenya. Plus, not at all excited about the city. I will make up my mind in July or August

@nubella yeah, I opted out too. If it were cheap I'd join it out of curiosity & to research it to see what advice was being offered. But at that price, I really didn't feel that any of the teasers sent out before the start of course were that enticing ...unless one had zero business sense to begin with. I also have a bit of a problem with people that don't have much success under their belt masquerading as experts at a steep price - my industry is full of those types!

@dresslikeaboss yeah work is bananas this year. I'm doing about 20 international trips but that's how it is when you're running a global department. I think they need to pay me more money. Granted I have a good salary but I've etched it up a notch so they should compensate. Working on it. Thank goodness my daughter ships for me when I travel. Otherwise it withdrew be harder to make this side hustle work. I do my best but I have achieved a lot in less than 1 year. 32k followers!

@meboutique and I'm never staying at the Grand Hyatt again. When checking out I spoke to the manager and advised that any time a guest is so ill they have to be wheeled back to their room in a wheelchair maybe they should check on said guest to see if they need a doctor, still alive or something. I couldn't been dead in my hotel room and no one would've been the wiser until housekeeping would've found me days later. She did apologize.

@amoc2001 I wasn't sick on the plane. It was a few hours later after I had landed. I believe or was the food on the plane that gave me food poisoning. I just completed a complaint to Singapore airlines. Maybe they will refund the flight. That's all I'm out because work paid for my hotel and the food I couldn't eat since I lived off of water and apple juice for 3 days! Should've weighed myself because I know I lost weight. We will see what they do.

Unfortunately I am flying back from Guam in the 20th then I'm going to a wine tasting party in Napa on the 21st if I'm not too jet lagged. Napa is 10 mins away from my front door so not a trip but can feel like one if the traffic is bad! Lol

@meboutique oh in my frenzy of getting ready for work and poshing I missed a trip. I'm actually going to Brazil in August as well two weeks after the trip to Nigeria. And while in Kenya in Sept I want to go on Safari so I need to plan that as well. Travel doesn't take care of personal excursions, only work related ones. So they will get me there and book my hotel but the Safari is on me. Fair deal since they are paying for everything else.

I do love my job. Been to 43 countries so far and counting. I joke that I'm in preparation for a future job as a US Diplomat or the FBI!

@amoc2001 lol jet lag is always a problem but not so much any more because I think I've gotten used to being off time zone because I do so many trips s year, at least 16. So I don't even worry about jet lag. But I usually have it worst coming back home and I always give myself an extra day or 2 going out. Think I've mastered it. I arrive in Nigeria next Sunday but I don't go into the office for work until that Tuesday.

Day 3. Still no suitcase. I'm gon have to redo the way I travel. Virgin Airlines called me. The case has been found! In London. They wanted to confirm it's mine. Hello! My name is on it with my phone number that you all have so even if another Natasha Williams traveling to Nigeria also lost a blue suitcase I'm sure the number is not the same! @meboutique well that's the problem. I flew United to Frankfurt. United lost 75 bags at SFO and we hadn't even left the gate. 2 hours sat on plabe. Supposedly they found them then off to Germany connecting on Lufthansa for direct to Lagos.

Problem occurred when. I missed my connecting flight due to 2 hour delay. They rebooked me on Virgin but I had to turn fly from Germany to London after a 12 hour flight! Layover in London was 8 hours! So I has access to a lounge with bedrooms and personal shower so I was able to sleep for 4 hours. Flight left London at 10:30pm Sunday arriving in Nigeria at 5am Monday! I started this journey on Saturday afternoon! No case in Nigeria. No one knew where it was.

@meboutique so I don't have any confidence if the case they are sending on a flight tonight is actually mine. If I leave without thsy case tomorrow I probably will never see it again. Nothing valuanlr inside really just my clothes, toiletries and makeup but I have at least $200 worth of makeup I'm that case that will need to be replaced. More mad about that because I have tons of clothes.

United is the absolute worst! It's odd that they don't know where they are which is indicative of computer issues. I know when my bag is boarding a flight and the exact moment it is coming out on a belt. With Delta you can track every moment of your bag.

@meboutique I'm going to have to start doing this packing extra clothes in a carryone especially for non-direct flights. But honestly I don't know which airline is to fault. It could be Lufthansa because of the rerouting to Virgin in London. But they didn't have any more flights leaving Frankfurt and if they had another flight on a different airline I had to take it or buy another ticket. The ticket was $2500 so that was not an option

@meboutique Yes! It arrived at 5am the morning I was leaving. I just went to the airport a little early before my flight home to pick it up then rechecked it. I had a TSA lock on it so everything was there and it was still locked. Thank goodness. Not that I had anything valuable in it anyway. I'm going to call united on Monday to complain. They should give me 50,000 extra miles just for that. 4 days no clothes!

@meboutique I had to scrub my face like crazy because I haven't gone so long without cleansing and exfoliating my face. The only soap I had was the hotel soap. And no moisturizer. But I survived. Never want to go back there.

That is an absurd amount of time to go without luggage. Although I am still looking for my luggage from the last Delta meltdown early this spring. They list it however it shows it is in list luggage at the Miami airport. They say they don't have it so I filed a claim. Now that's a nightmare.

@meboutique Hey, Doll. I’m headed to Egypt in a month. I also read on Friday that as of Oct 8, 2017 the Turkish government declared they will not be issuing any visas to US nationals! They have banned us because of Trump! Have you heard about this? I was supposed to go to Turkey in 2018. I guess not now.

I am aware that US visas are temporarily being suspended to Turkey due to political situations. I used to love Turkey however with over 20 terrorist attacks last year alone and more this year it's not in my list of places to return to anytime soon. Love Egypt though. If you have the time take one of the River cruises. Royal Sonesta is nice.

At this point a volcanic eruption would be normal. Lol. Fortunately where you were staying would not be affected at all. Ubud....a little more but not so much. Agung erupts every 25 Years or so and I never have understood the people who choose to live on his basin.

@meboutique oh my! Where are you moving to? I was just in that situation, had to move in between 2 trips but I decided to buy the place I've been renting just so I wouldn't have to move in 2 weeks. Hopefully, we will close by 12/31 but I'm traveling to Thailand in 2 weeks for 12 days. Since I have two weekends there I'm going to spend one in Phuket on the beach, Bali makeup. Hopefully no food poisoning this time! And no Tsunami!

@kk711 Thanks Doll. So sweet of you. I am home for the holidays now. When I close my closet but open up only a few items I don’t bring them with me as I am traveling overseas. I have an assistant who helps me when I travel and because I had rearranged things and didn’t have time to go over with her where everything was store I only opened up the things she could easily find. So that was the reason.

I have 2 jobs and 1 of them is in Florida ( with side trips to Boston) and I was thing of taking small items( such as jewelry) that I could easily ship from there and then close rest of my closet. When in Europe or Asia I just close closet completely.. sounds like an assistant is in my future... @kk711 Wow, 2 jobs plus Posh! That’s a lot going on. I’m glad I just have one very good one that takes care of my needs. Yeah an assistant may be a good idea. I don’t worry too much about it. Posh is for fun so if I have to close my closet it is no big deal because Posh isn’t paying any bills as of yet. Good luck which whatever method you decide. You may have to try several to see which works best for you.

@jillene002 Thanks. You are not the first person who have thought I work for Poshmark. I have no idea why because Poshmark only operates in the US. Brazil was fun. It was a short trip. I’m going back in August for 10 days. I’m doing about 15 international trips this year. Going to Costa Rica in about 3.5 weeks. It’s a fun job.

Tickets sold out very fast this year but I snagged one early on. I lived in Dallas 8 years before moving to Cali so I hope to make time to see some friends who live there. I may go a few days early.

@foxarazzi Doll! I'm here in Nepal now! All I can say is that I'm glad this was a free trip because I would never pay my own money to come here. Maybe it's for some people but it's definitely NOT for me. I've been to 50 countries and this one will be put on the list of less desirable. Don't think I'll be coming back again. @foxarazzi the people are nice. I'm in the city so it's not pretty, not clean and not hygienic. Polluted air. Extreme poverty. I'm staying in the best hotel in the city and well it's not worth it even though it's 5 star but I guess better than the alternative. Public restrooms are disgusting for the most part.

@foxarazzi maybe in the mountain areas it's better. I don't know. I'm only here for 4 days and I leave on Friday and so happy to go home. The food is okay but have to be careful because of the less than hygienic environment. Bring pocket tissues and Hand disinfectant.

@foxarazzi yes, I'm in Kathmandu. Maybe it's better outside the city. I know a lot of people who like it. It's just not for me. But the weather is good. Not too hot, not cold and not humid. No rain this week thank goodness because the streets are dirt so rain Would make it a muddy mess.
