Her name was Marjorie Lane Bates. She used to sing for MGM. Just wanted to give you a little background on them, as the owner was a fascinating women!

mashookie @hailtofashion lol!! Men just don't understand! Shoes and clothes can completely transform your look and for the most part, some designers styles are classic and always in. I can only imagine the look on his face as you're measuring your foot:)! So, let me know what you think is best, do you prefer that I post picture with the measuring tape, so you can have a more accurate look? When I measured from toe up to the heel (on the inside) length was 8",

mashookie @jmreiss1 I just measured around the calf area, which measures 13”, 4” width on the bottom and 9” for length. As far as it being true to size, I can’t answer that because I’m a 7.5, but I know sometimes especially with designer vintage shoes, sizing can be a bit smaller.
