I'm Jill! All items are for sale to help trafficked girls in Pattaya Thailand and Detroit, MI. I volunteer to help them find dignified work. 50% of my profits are donated to help the girls rise up from their situation! I support many programs that are offered free to the girls including: transitional housing, educational costs, English, finance, zumba, computer, and baking classes. wendimb You got your closet started. Congratulations! Now what do you do? I have lots of tips in my closet if you need a place to start. Here is an example: Tip - If someone asks you to take the transaction off of Poshmark (they want you to email them, call them, or go to another site), it's almost always a scam. Don't do it. BTW I hope your items sell quickly!

sheisworthit @summerchance I'm so sorry for your loss summer! I can't imagine what you are going through. I have been doing missions since 2004. Just following God's call. In early 2015 I really felt a push to work in Nepal (my idea, not God's). But you know how that works. I have never wanted to travel to Thailand. There are a few countries I have never wanted to go to. China, Thailand... But while searching for places to do missions for trafficking Nepal didn't come up, Thailand did. Over and over again.

sheisworthit @summerchance so it was them I realized I was putting my life in place of God's plan. I started looking into Thailand and found notabandoned.org and they are with my cousins church in Seattle. The team leader is a good friend of my cousin. I got in touch with them in January of that year and went on the trip in November. It was the most life changing experience I've ever had. And I've had some pretty amazing experiences on missions.

sheisworthit @summerchance But this was like no other. I met girls who were nothing like what I thought they would be. They were lovely, kind, funny, and caring. They were trafficked! But they found joy somewhere and I don't know if it were me I could do that. Our group actually goes into the bars and meets the girls where they are, we offer them options. Some take them right away. Some wait years.

sheisworthit @Summerchance just 3 weeks ago I got a message on Facebook from one of my girls that I met on my first trip she told me she wap ready to go home. But that she was not brave enough to reach out to the Thai team so she contacted me in the USA. There was a 12 hour time difference but I was staying up all night till she was safe. I told her I would call our Thai team for her and that they would love her as much as I did.

sheisworthit @Summerchance I had my Thai girl call her and she was so happy, our foundation got her a bus ticket home, money to start a business in her village and helped get her out of the bar! She is home with her 2 small kids today, walking them to school! I love what I do. And can't believe I get to be a part of something so much bigger than myself! With each trip we make Facebook friends with them and stay in touch when we get home, we never know when they will be ready to go home!

Amazing !! I tried to donate marrow a few years ago but found out I couldn't because I have metal in my pelvis from spinal surgery

sheisworthit @briewineposh I was born with a spinal defect and have had 2 spinal reconstruction surgeries, my last one just 3 years ago. I am fused from top to bottom. It's crazy! I donate blood now because it's all I can do and am an organ donor. So happy to meet you!!

Well mine never do learn the screens and go right through them. Duct tape on my back door. I look like a hillbilly house. Ha ha I can say that cause I am from Michigan!

briewineposh That's is TOO funny! Chance is a big goofball...super friendly and not timid at all, but I attribute that to him not racing long. He's too ADD IMO...he'll be in sprint mode (even now at 11!) and just stop short bc he got whiff of a scent. I just melt when I see other greys...it's like they're famous to me. I feel like I just "get" them. Best decision I ever made 😍 Does yours roo? Chance doesn't. No barking either but I'll take that!!

sheisworthit @briewineposh neither of mine roo, or bark I love that about them. My first only had 28 races and I thought that was a lot. But Tegan had over 100. So I great she was better. Ha ha. I know what you mean. I can't help myself when I see another grey walking. I must stop and pet them. I also Foster them. Not often, but I do. I get a new Foster next week. I don't know much about her yet other than she is coming off the track in W Virginia!

sheisworthit @hmsimon1 you have beautiful handmade items! I love that. My sister and I also make jewelry. I started making jewelry after my second spinal surgery in 2014 and couldn't move. I needed to do something but could only use my hands and mind. I found it so relaxing too. Therapeutic almost. Now we sell in local stores too and donate back to charity.

Another is to jump in and get involved on the ground on mission around the world or in your backyard. Even if it is behind the computer doing work that is very needed. I also do outreach on the streets of Detroit. It's very rewarding
