@pzapata85 no they're actually very shiny, I think it's the lighting in the photo. I did just realize one of the gems is missing though on one of the lower dangly parts. It's not noticeable but I'll have to update the listing.

What is the length?

@jenhov the length of just the chandelier part is about 2", when you add in the hook it's about 2.5" from where it would sit in your ear
