justjill999Salmon Mary....love it! 😂😂😂

Sep 17Reply

salmonmary@justjill999 I'm so glad to hear that. I find that life is so much more fun when you go through it with a sense of humor. And to think it started with people running our names together all of the time and then my singing our Christmas cards with the name that became the name of our boutique.

cathyfrangosI just wanted to say hello and thank you for the follow. As I strolled through your closet I couldn't help but share along the way! Around every corner was another surprise. You have done such a marvelous job with both your merchandise selections and your staging! Sometimes it's just nice to have someone recognize your hard work. So... Job well done. Always nice to meet a new Posh friend!

Sep 19Reply

k_p1Wow! You have an amazing closet. Lovely.

Sep 19Reply

salmonmary@k_p1 Thank you for that lovely note! I appreciate it so much!

Sep 19Reply

salmonmary@cathyfrangos You have just made my day & my week! Thank you for being so very kind and for showing me such thoughtfulness! I cannot express how much your words mean to me. I do try to do my very best in each and every element. To have someone recognize that and to mention it, well that just means a great deal to me! I'm flattered and honored by your genuine kindness to me! THANK YOU A MILLION!

Sep 19Reply

cathyfrangos@salmonmary you are more than very welcome! You do have such a stunning closet and it was meant sincerely. There are so many how would I say mediocre-at-best closets out there so when I run across one that is special like yours I think it's good to acknowledge it. Thank you much for sharing that. I'm marked a like on your closet so I'll be back to share again.

Sep 19Reply

salmonmary@cathyfrangos that is WONDERFUL! Thank you many times over! I have been very busy and ha e new inventory to list as soon as I can! I have 14 new high end items that I need to photograph and prepare for listing!

Sep 19Reply

cathyfrangos@salmonmary your high-end items are just stunning I can't wait to see them. I know how much work that is to photograph and list. I just did about 14 items myself late last week took me over 3 days people don't realize the effort that goes into making your things look nice LOL

Sep 19Reply

salmonmary@cathyfrangos TRUE! Nor do they know the effort it takes to scour and dig to find the good stuff! 🤓😉😁

Sep 19Reply

cathyfrangos@salmonmary you are so right there. I spent hours and hours just to find three or four wonderful things but it's worth it I love the treasure hunt as I call it

Oct 02Reply

salmonmary@soonerchef you’re wonderful for saying that! Made my day! Thank you!

Oct 02Reply

shopwisteriaHi Sam, idk if this will change the sales, but when you have brands listed as boutique, this may limit. I often weed out my search by closet only, so I don’t see boutiques. You have beautiful stuff.

Oct 02Reply

eescobar104You have a lovely family. Good luck.

Oct 02Reply

salmonmary@ikreminskiy WOW! I had no idea! I thought it was a benefit if I actually had legitimate boutique items. Why would one search for only closet items? I’m grateful you’re willing to help me! BLESS you for reaching out!

Oct 02Reply

salmonmary@eescobar104 What a lovely thing to say! Thank you!!!

Oct 02Reply

shopwisteria@salmonmary hope you don’t get offended, but my daughter is in her 20s and she told me it’s called “brand whores” lol. People that only look for brands, not Boutique items. Although I like some boutiques. It’s the quality that matters sometimes, that’s what brands offer.

Oct 02Reply

salmonmary@ikreminskiy Hi! I'm not offended. So, she's saying people search for a certain brand. I get that. If they search for Brand Z shoes, they'd search for exactly that... So, I guess I just do not understand how a certain brand would not come up in a search if it's a boutique item (direct from the brand and not a retail store). Appreciate the help.

Oct 02Reply

shopwisteria@salmonmary you can filter out boutiques to narrow your search

Oct 02Reply

salmonmary@ikreminskiy I appreciate your caring and for your help! THANKS!

Oct 09Reply

salmonmary@lhaag721 WOW! Thank you so much Lynda! You've blessed my socks off with your sweet note, your shares and your incredibly nice compliment! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Few things in life bless me more than when someone notices my eye for style or my personal flair for beautiful things. I remember my grandparents and others remarking on it when I was very, very young. . So, truly, THANK YOU!

Oct 09Reply

salmonmary@lhaag721 I was fortunate enough that they lived on the next street over from my grandparents, so I was with them a great deal. I grew up (in a way) in the finest department stores, boutiques, shops, stores, and then just seeing what my family would choose and wear. I was a blessed little boy

janimack7👋🏼 Hi, Sam! I’m Jan 👋🏼 Welcome to POSH! Let me know if there is anything I can help you with, there is a bit of learning curve! (We have all been there! A bit tricky at times!) A great place to find LOTS of information is @official_forum. Happy POSHing! 😊 Thanks for the tag, LYNDA❣ @lhaag721

Oct 10Reply

salmonmary@janimack7 hi Jan! Thank you for this wonderful note! I’m so thankful to Lynda for helping me make such great new friends! You’re absolutely right about the learning curve, so I am especially grateful for the offer of help and support! I recently had a potential customer ask me a very good question yet the self help did not have an answer. I found my answer by googling! 🤓😁 I am so pleased to have your friendship as we strive success with our business! Have a great day!

Oct 10Reply

salmonmary@bustingbeauty Thank YOU for that! I’m so flattered!

Oct 10Reply

salmonmary@cle957 HI Chris!!! Thank you a million! @lhaag721 is the BEST! She has blessed me immeasurably and I am forever her fan (and grateful). Thanks for reaching out and introducing yourself!!!!!

Oct 10Reply

janimack7@salmonmary I hope find POSHing as satisfying as I do, Sam! Let me know if I can help❣️ Have a great week❗️

Oct 11Reply

salmonmary@janimack7 You’re wonderful! Thank you! I’m loving it here. Just giving it my all to make it work. We started our eBay store 8 years ago for much needed supplemental income and have added Etsy and Poshmark in addition to our other jobs. I really appreciate the new friendships and hopefully we can help each other make it profitable for one another. Ha e a fantastic weekend!

Oct 11Reply

janimack7@salmonmary Hi, Sam! I looked into a lot of buy/sell sites but didn’t get too excited until POSH. I love the positive atmosphere of people helping each other. Of course there are a few definitely a few ‘negative Nellies’ I’ve encountered. It is sad they must be so unhappy in their lives to have to use this site as a venue for their frustrations. But positivity still reigns here! Best of luck to you and yours!😊💙

Oct 11Reply

salmonmary@janimack7 Thats Good to hear! Your'e right about the positive atmosphere here! Very encouraging! I've already had a few negative nellies .... I do not see a reason to comment that an item I have is at X store for less.... can I help what a big retailer does months after I buy an item? I also cannot help if something does not fit. Instead of beating me up, I'd much rather refund your money for a return! : Thank for the good luck wish and friendship!

Oct 11Reply

janimack7@salmonmary I’m sorry you have run into them, too. They are definitely around. They are certainly operating with a half empty (or less) cup. Hope you have a great end of week/weekend!

There are countless poshers here that are so incredibly helpful!

Oct 20Reply

salmonmary@doodles239 BTW, "buying blinders" is something I'm very familiar with as I have seen so many things I'd love to buy for myself or my wife...but I have to make my sales goals for our needed income first and foremost!

Dec 03Reply

swellbettyJust a quick FYI - you’ve marked a vast majority in your closet as boutique, that are not boutique items, rather NWT. Boutique definitions means you purchased wholesale. Just making sure you don’t get your listings deleted. I’d recommend changing these to avoid a lot of rework listing items.

katwhispererCongrats on being a new ambassador!! How exciting for you. I'm still learning but I'm so amazed at all the Posh luv and support

Dec 07Reply

salmonmary@katwhisperer That is so thoughtful of you! Thank you! Yes, it's a truly supportive and encouraging community. If I can be of help to you in any way, please let me know. I may or may not know the answer but would be truly glad to be able to help you. Have a GREAT DAY!

Dec 07Reply

katwhispererHi Sam. Viewed your closet early this morning. Forgot if I congratulated you on becoming a new Posh Ambassador. Yeah!! I saw you liked the M & M blanket- happy to open and send pic. I also have a larger blanket that is a heavier fleece.

Dec 07Reply

katwhispererThanks for offering help. I really appreciate it as this gets a bit overwhelming. You're very kind 😃 😃

Dec 07Reply

katwhispererForgot. Love the convertible pic. Great shot!

Dec 07Reply

salmonmary@katwhisperer Thank You! That was when I drove a Mini Cooper! I had to go look and see what you mentioned the convertible pic! Do not let things overwhelm you! Take things at your own pace, as you are able and you’ll learn as you go and enjoy it more! No need to open the blanket but thanks for the offer! I do like it and liking something is a great way to mark something so I can get back to it easily.

Dec 08Reply

male_threadsreally nice closet.. brands I never even knew existed. always good to follow experienced sellers

Dec 08Reply

salmonmary@male_threads What a terrific compliment! Thank you for that! I’ve been incredibly fortunate all my life to be influenced by very fashionable people, so Ive learned from each of them and continue to learn! Thanks again! Oh and if I can ever be of help to you, let me know!

Dec 09Reply

male_threads@salmonmary That is awesome. It shows that you have a lot of knowledge and been fortunate to be around the fashion industry. Your closet is so unique and many brands that no one carries. One thing im still trying to learn is how to authenticate high quality shoes. For example, an Italian shoe. The incredible quality is obvious, but how to know its authentic.

Dec 09Reply

salmonmary@male_threads That’s a very good question! It is good to buy from reputable sources, such as a store that carries high end products. I’ll tell you the biggest challenges from selling shoes, is the sizing. A size 7 in one brand might not necessarily be that same in another. Italian and other European brands are a challenge in spite of the widespread belief that EU 38 = US 8. That is not always the case.

Dec 09Reply

salmonmary@male_threads But if you have the ability to make enough on them, the worst that can happen is they not for and need to be returned. If they’re over 500, then they are sent to Poshmark for Authentication first.

Dec 09Reply

male_threads@salmonmary That is some great advice. I can typically find shoes in the retail range of 100 - 300 new with tags. .. the modest price range. Sometimes, not a bad thing because they move more quickly. Thanks for the info.

angelas_avenue@salmonmary Thanks for the shares! I will share back during the day when you'll get more exposure. The other day I was so busy, not complaining at all, funny thing, very late I shared a lot of your closet while in zombie mode.

Sep 28Reply

angelas_avenue@salmonmary I think 2 days later you mentioned in 1 of our group games about sharing a bit at a time bc of your schedule & it was funny bc the game host said she could relate bc she's actually fallen asleep before! I chimed in, I've done the exact same thing more than once!

Sep 28Reply

angelas_avenue@salmonmary The day you mentioned being so busy, was the night I shared I think maybe 200 of your items. I don't need kudos, but you always thank me. Now I know, you were slammed & probably didn't notice bc of when I did it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway....I'll get you during non vampire hours! Thanks again for the shares & your nice congratulations comment last night! I appreciate it! ~Angela 🥰

Sep 28Reply

salmonmary@angelas_avenue I sure do admire (and ENVY) your ability to stay up late. I miss being able to do that! I know it would help my sales here, but I can only do so much in a day. I have had too many years having to be up and gone early for work and now I'm just not able to do it. So, good for you! Of course, I ALWAYS appreciate your shares very much. JUST SO GLAD to have your friendship and to be able for us to support each other!

Sep 28Reply

angelas_avenue@salmonmary You're the best! I do it when I can..the up late & the shares. I'm more of a night owl & don't "have to" get up as early as I use to. Did you change your photos? I love them! 🤗 They're all great! Hope you're having a great weekend! Take care!😎 ~Angela

currentklasikHi there - I am new here and can’t figure out how to directly respond to your offer on the Frye combat boots. I wanted to say thanks and if they were in my size I would absolutely buy them. I scanned your closet for my size, 8.5, but didn’t see them or anything similar. I did, however, see so many other beautiful items. You have impeccable taste! I will be back! Becky

themagicwand@salmonmary Hi! I’m in a few share games with you and whenever I see your names, I know it’s a lovely well put together closet and I don’t have to search for something pretty & clean to share because it’s all here. Thanks for the beautiful closet! I hope to start my own share games soon, and I’d love for both of you to come share with us once we’re up and running. Love the story behind your closet name. iskandr_123Hah! You got a deal! I meant to list that item for $18 but I see I made a mistake and listed for $15 😂😂 anyways, thanks for the purchase. It will ship out tomorrow 😊👍❤️

Jun 15Reply

salmonmary@iskandr_123 Oh man! I had no idea! I just kept checking with you in hopes of finding something in my size to buy from you. If marked the red one as my easy way to get back and keep checking your inventory. I had no idea on the price difference!

Jun 16Reply

iskandr_123@salmonmary it's all good! I was just surprised / confused when I got notification I made a sale and then I looked at the price. "Did he make an offer and I accepted with no memory of any of this taking place?!?" I had a good laugh lol 😂

Jun 26Reply

electric_dingo@salmonmary thanks. I'm just getting started on posh so I'm still trying to figure things out. After losing my job to Covid, I decided not to go back to work and I'm really enjoying the PM vibe!

Jun 26Reply

stylenuveauYour closet is stunning!!! Every single item is gorgeous💜

Jul 01Reply

niklamarca@salmonmary If you hear any rustling around don't be too alarmed, it's just me crawling into your closet to live for a little while. Superb doesn't come close to describing it. If I was still living my old jet setting life I would most undoubtedly shop exclusively here. I don't know how those spectacular Stella McCartney boots would fare tromping around my farm, but they're making me yearn for the old me! Fabulous, Sam, fabulous!

Jul 01Reply

salmonmary@niklamarca OMGooodnezzzzz that is the nicest & funniest message I may have ever received! I literally laughed out loud and, for that alone, I'm grateful! Every day is better by a great big laugh! Thank you for those encouraging words. As you can imagine, the economy is no longer really good for high end items, so my timing is off on things like those Stella Mc "work boots" LOL. You'd certainly be the best dressed in "your field of work". THANKS AGAIN! You come back anytime!

Jul 01Reply

iskandr_123@salmonmary thank you for the five-star rating and the positive review. Happy Poshing, my friend! 😍❤️😁 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

livingbutterfly🦋💙 Hey Posh Friend , My name is Heather and I’ve been a posher since 2015 but just recently started being active & growing my shop. I just wanted to say hey and I’m so happy that you are here! Being here is a double blessing whether you’re selling and I’m purchasing or the other way around ✌️🫶 We have a wonderful community here! I hope you love it too. I’d love it if you would swing on by and check out my closet. ✌️💙🦋 Can’t wait to get to know you 💙
