hellolova How do you know this is earth mined? Do you know the origin country? I thought earth mined Alexandrite, especially large ones, were very rare and expensive.

kristy_farrell I don't recognize these colors in an Alexandrite, I have a very small (.30 carat ) one and I paid a thousand dollars for it.I HAVE to make sure my stones are legit, since I use them for Magickal purposes,as well as for Healing.My Authentic Alex is deep red,changes to deep green,fiery flashes of mysterious colors at night.

cassie555 I bought a few of these, but they were calling them lab-created tourmaline. I hate to tell ya, Alexandrite turns colors a little differently than this, even lab created. But, it is possibly tourmaline because it can grow in any color.

virginiaalle590 @mechanical_bug they come in this color, it’s my sons birthstone ! The desired color is the dark blue/ green, purple color flash ones. They are very expensive . This color can be real but are less desired and and substantially less costly !
