1970's brutalist, sterling & amethyst hand wrought ring. Incredibly dynamic biomorphic design. The gorgeous, polished, purple stone looks like it is either emerging or landing into a mysterious, free form, seemingly undulating, organic surface. Purchased in Israel. My jeweler tested & it is stamped 925. 15g. Sz 7.25. Face is appx 1&1/4" long. 1/2" high. Comfortable because weight is balanced well. The sculptural, flowing design reminds me of the sea in Solaris. Thanks for looking.
