sarahp1234 @whl It works fine for me on dense, curly hair. There are also some reviews saying that this flat iron gets frizzy, curly hair poker straight. It is known to be a great tool, rated about 4-5 stars. Check out reviews if you are curious! :)

whl @sarahp1234 may I ask where you purchased it? Sorry Bout all the questions. I purchased an FHI on here several months ago and when I received it i has to file a claim against the seller. It was not as described. It was terrible!!
