The back is kinda open I guess, but someone would have to be standing right next to you looking in your shirt to see the line of skin between the inside layer of the shirt and your waist, haha! It's just a peek-a-boo cutout, not a big one at all :) It's so cute and so soft, I think you'll just love it! I'm posting it in black, too, tomorrow :)
