I really believe that looking at my iPad all these hours are killing my eyes! Current vision is 20/70. If it's small text no way! I have everything set at 20 times the normal size so I can read it!!

rmccouture @buysel1497 Yes! I posted this listing using the desktop app! It's a little hard to find the post button. It's all the way on the bottom of the screen. Make sure that your window is centered (if you have multiple windows open) and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the last screen. You should see a button to "list". Good luck!

rmccouture @bailey_misty Hey Misty! You should totally be able to list using your laptop/computer now. They updated the program, and now we can list, edit, etc. using our computers. If you are having issues, I suggest that you contact Poshmark support. There's no reason that you shouldn't be able to use your computer.

There's nothing that I can do on my computer that I can't do on my phone, except SEE! I have a brain injury that affects my eyesight, along with some other things, & I find the phone way too small for me to adequately see what I am doing. In that way, yes, it's much easier for me to organize my closet on my computer (cont)

rmccouture @thrftee_chicks It's easier for me to edit my listings on the computer as well, but not to make listings, as I use my phone to take all of my photos, so it's easier for me to just list using my phone, & then update the listing with information using my computer. I also find it easier to share from my computer. The downside of using the computer is that you don't get the same feed as the app gets (it looks different, and lacks detail that the app has) (cont)

There are certain things that must be done using the app, I just can't think of what they are off of the top of my head! I was a major advocate for allowing Poshers to use computers to list, as I felt it was very limited of PM to keep everything on the phone/tablet. There are plenty of people who have poor eyesight & prefer their computers (cont)

rmccouture @thrftee_chicks Plus, many people who are far beyond the generation of cellphone users were not getting the opportunity to sell their things on Poshmark because they didn't care to learn how to use their cellphones. No other online sales site limits its users to phones only. It makes no sense! I am very glad that we are able to list from computers now, however I think it depends on your personal circumstances whether or not using a phone vs. a computer is easier. (cont)

rmccouture @jmjnmsh Hi Happy! Sounds like you might want to contact Poshmark support with your issue. Is it possible that your friend hacked the account? I'm the farthest thing from a techie there is, but there may be a difference if you're using a Mac or PC. I know there's a difference between the app and my phone (I have an Android) and the one run on iPhones, so maybe there's something to it? (cont)

I go up to the right hand corner and click Sell on Poshmark....and a screen telling me I need to download the app to sell. I'm using my pc/laptop though so there I shouldn't have to download anything, correct? I have always used this laptop with my Posh account, never used it on my android phone. Thanks in advance if anyone is able to help me navigate this issue.

rmccouture @sjharris777 Hey Sarah. You definitely should not have to download an app on your laptop. If you were using a tablet or iPad, then you would, but not a regular computer. I would suggest writing to Poshmark Support. They may take a few days to get back to you, however they are aware of glitches that certain systems have on the website, & can guide you through how to get your particular laptop model to work correctly. ❤️Amanda

As I wrote above to the woman who's also having issues with listing via desktop, you need to write to them as much as it takes in order to get help with your specific device. rmccouture @jadyph Hi Jady. Sorry for not seeing your question sooner. Are you referring to the photo banner at the top of your closet? If so, you can't change it on your desktop. Just log in using your user-name or email, and all of the info that's on your app should come up on the desktop version, including your payment info. Hope this helps! ❤️Amanda

rmccouture @itsmeganthough Hey Megan. I've had the same problem with photo sizing. I have never been able to figure out what the photo size is supposed to be, just that it has to be square. I usually take screenshots on both my phone and computer, and use those to upload onto the site. I make the screenshot larger than the photo I'm using, so that I have extra space to make the photo larger in the Poshmark app if I need to. I hope that helps! ❤️Amanda

rmccouture @sisters62 Hi Lucy! Your sign-in is the same for both your computer and your phone. Is it possible that you created a different sign-in, using your email instead of your user-name, or something like that? If your computer has an auto sign-in, it's possible you saved the wrong information. I would log out of Poshmark on your computer, and log-in again using the info from the Poshmark app on your phone. rmccouture @sisters62 If you're able to login to a closet that doesn't have your stuff on your computer, that means you may have accidentally created 2 different accounts, which is no big deal; you just need to make sure you sign in on the computer with the same user ID/email and password that you have saved on your phone.
