Both my BA and MA are in psychology and now my 2nd MA will be in social work so I'll be able to get licensed afterwards so it's 2 years and finally I can be done✅✅✅✅ I'm feeling old and need to get on moving with my life LOL

cmlazorenk @bethybd awe, you seriously are such a sweet angel! It's been a rough month! My Sheltie spent 3 days in the hospital after she collapsed and quit breathing on my couch Sunday evening and came too after I freaked out and then again while rushing her to the ER vet. They diagnosed her with pancreatitis and we have her home now. Between that and my daughter starting school on Tuesday I'm completely exhausted! Which exacerbates my health condition as well.

cmlazorenk @bethybd I have an apt here in about an hour for some spinal injections that I'm just dreading. I normally bounce back okay from them but the last couple times have really taken me down. I know it's because of stress and sleep deprivation. Ugh, but my sweet girl is doing so much better. Which makes the 3,500.00 vet bill a bit easier to swallow. How are you doing my sweet friend? Sorry I haven't been as active on here as usual.

If you want to make them the offer, you can offer something below your last list price. Or you can wait, and see if they make an offer to you.

bethybd @nubie66 i would probably wait to see what they do on a new listing if I feel my price is fair....for 1 or 2 days and then if someone else hasnt out right bought your item, you can decide again on dealing with the posher. And yes we all get the $20 dollar offers on the $100 items lol I dont let them bother me though...I usually counter even if we are world's apart and then if they let it die....

bethybd @magnolia2148 Okay I am glad to help! So sorry but it takes time! First, in order to be Poshmark Compliant, you should consider removing the lotions. A lot of ladies wont share your closet if you are selling anything against the rules and those are not allowed. Please dont be angry I am pointing that out because it is a big deal here on PM.

You can go to the main feed and look at the suggested Poshmark Ambassador list that is constantly rotating and follow those people and share from their closets. Most people will return shares when they see youve shared their items

bethybd @magnolia2148 the way the app and computer algorithms work, no one sees your items unless they do a dedicated search for something you have, unless it is shared to others. Doing that yourself and having others share your closet gets your items seen by others.

Also, you want to constantly increase your followers by following other poshers. Again, you can find suggestions in the feed where the PM Ambassador list is constantly updating.

It has different options from date night, casual wear, office, etc. You click on which fits your style best and I guess they are supposed to recommend you closets that meet that criteria. I've submitted a request but haven't had "someone" actually style me yet.

bethybd @dodger13 no it just means you are totally on your own to trust whoever you do it with. I dont trade but I have friends who do occasionally. Its not safe, and I would advise against it. I would suggest you block anyone who is harassing you though. Do you know how to that? It will keep that posher from being able to write on your listings or follow or share etc.

You click on it and it gives you the option of offering the private discount to all who liked it. lovedandkurated I also find that varying logos is cluttering for me - again that is my personal opinion. Also - to use a brand logo correctly, you would need to find the logo on alpha channel so that it can go over the image cleanly. But I have seen some closets use the b/w logo over white background. You can use the college app to put the logo in a panel & output a template.

lovedandkurated Go to the app store to read reviews/how to to determine what works best for your phone/comp. Whatever you chose, try to set up a template per brand so all you have to do is drag & drop photos. This allows you to quickly make the listing photo. As for logos - you will need to do a google search & for high res alpha channel logos for each of the brands. Hope that helps, but maybe some of the other ladies might have another way that they do it that is faster/easier =)

iridessegray @bethybd I think it looks nice! I like that the logo doesn't overwhelm the photo so the dress still stands out as the focus of the cover photo. I would also take a couple extra photos of the dress at other angles like the back, sleeves, etc. Maximize the 8 photo spread. Also take another photo as a cover shot alternative so you can swap them to generate interest if it still doesn't move. I try to take 3 cover shot potentials within a listing (full, close, flat) to switch around.

I have decided to only use the offer to likers feature for discounts of 20% or more, and I think that has been beneficial. I know I ignore the 10% and 4.99 shipping offers, so I assume my buyers will so the same!

iridessegray @bethybd I tried it on two stale items and no sales just to try. I have been selling consistently as normal- bundles, buyer offered/I offered, and full price (no negotiation) sales. So I haven’t really had the need to push with the Price Drop feature, which is a good thing! 😊

iridessegray @bethybd I don’t price drop with CCO just to drop. But I do leverage it as a counteroffer to experienced buyers and that’s worked for me. “If you are ok with my counteroffer I can price drop to trigger discounted shipping. Just let me know, no pressure.” Something to that effect and it helps me on those weekends.

duchessofmalibu The price drop feature works really well with items I want to buy. lols. But I will offer my experience: I used it during the CCO weekend. At 9am, then later around 1pm, I used the feature to drop prices on items that have a large number of likes and then HP. No other items. I also joined at least three very aggressive SG each day (sharing 10-20 items per closet/large lists).

From my efforts, I saw an increase in activity with new followers, more comments, and I sold about 10 items. Truthfully, I like the feature. iridessegray @bethybd Unless you keep a running count (keeping an eye on an item and how many likes are on it- for example I have one dress that I know I have 117 likes on it so I’m monitoring that). But I would say in the top right corner of your closet, click on the double hanger and you can sort by likes/bundles/etc and see who most recently interacted with your item by choice.

emsulli1 @ambertrisann If it were me, I'd mark the items as not for sale and create a bundle listing for her since it's only a few days. If she doesn't purchase you don't have to relist and you have a private-ish listing to contact her on. I'd delete the custom listing and make the items available if she doesn't follow through.

I've definitely been burned by holding items before- unless the buyer has multiple purchases and no evidence of drama/flakiness on her profile, I would say something like "Sounds great! I don't do holds, but if the items are available on Friday, they're all yours!"

I just switched them as “not for sale”- the 1st time it was an item that didn’t really have much activity & she purchased it. The 2nd had purchased from me the week prior & was waiting for payday, so I held 3 items for her & she messaged me a couple hours before our noon “meet up time” b/c she was so excited to buy. Both my experiences were great. So feel out the buyer & depends item interest level. Good luck!!! ✨💛💫

bethybd @ambertrisann I have done holds 2x and both buyers purchased close to when they had promised me to do so. And, I have had PFFs hold for me to wait on funds to be released from sales several times myself. Like most have said already, just check the person out first and do the hold or NFS option Em mentioned so its smallest risk and inconvenience for but still allowing the possibility. I hope the person does as promised! And that they purchase alot!! 😍😘💋

iridessegray @bethybd The beauty of posh is that it’s not a cookie cutter formula to success. So many different strategies because all our closets are so different from product assortment to merchandising to marketing to pricing. 😊 I do try to list daily ranging from 1-13 items a day (depends if my son is in school or not), so consistently 6 days a week because I have skipped a day on some weeks. 🤪

bethybd @carpediem1430 I think everyone has a different strategy but I think sharing and getting new followers are both important. I try to follow new people every day but dont always have the time. I see correlations to both sharing and following in my sales. It seems the best time to do one of the super posher games is during the late party for sure. Poshers tend to follow back more reliably then.

Then in late January/ early February something happened and now I have at least 35 sales per week. I wish I knew what caused this big up tick so I could keep it going, but I'm just enjoying it while it lasts. Poshmark is very fickle lol

lovedandkurated @bethybd @gunner1215 @emsulli1 Oh - no eavesdropping really =) - BUT Have not had the baby BOY yet, I have had complications and needed surgery this past month, but we are both recovering nicely. His McMansion is just getting bigger & bigger by the day though =) I'm expecting in July and I think right after @iridessegray Jane's June date. So I have very much been trying to nest and just prep for the due date Posh / Work / and baby wise. I appreciate you very much =) Hugs - Kay

Procedure went well & we are hoping that he stays in the McMansion until at least week 36/37 - that & healthy =) So ask away, I'll answer as comfortably as I possibly can =) As for photos, I promised Jane that I would, but I'm rather camera shy! Forthcoming, but by then he'll have built a swimming pool!

Remember I said we were going to Portland after the Big Sur marathon in May? We are still planning that - so let me know if there are certain places G & I should hit up when we are there?

iridessegray @lovedandkurated Awww I’m glad to hear you guys are ok! And yes! Portland is known for food- so I can totally rattle off a list of restaurants if you want. Or if you want to see sights, there’s tons of waterfalls just outside the city. We just took engagement photos at a waterfall (no hiking needed!!) called Latourell Falls (Multnomah Falls is famous, it’s nearby). 💕

bethybd @von_der_trenk Hi Megan! Yes I am having it happen also. I think that if you have ever offered that price in the past in a private offer, it cancels the new request/offer and doesnt send it. Then, that message appears in feed. I know any new likers yoy haven't offered the same price to already will get a new one, but its been my experience where there are no new likers to have the same result as you are having. I am going tag everyone and see if maybe someone else can help us around it!

angelochekk1989 @bethybd and I read in the blog 3 months ,and than u can resend offer ,you can only send offer to new likers,which I hate,that we have to wait 3 months, because I had a lot of people who missed the offer and it expired and I can't resend it to them ,ever ,so I have to make custom listing every time for them, to send a offer ,which is annoying to me and buyers

bethybd @angelochekk1989 thank you for the info Anna on your experiences. I didn't remember offering previously on a couple things either, but assumed my error. Sounds like you are saying it's possibly a glitch in system/process if you KNOW you had not made offers that low in past. So, for now it seems we can only do a custom listing to someone kind enough to contact us and engage in convo, wait 90 days, or delete the listing and start over which is even more inconvenient...? @von_der_trenk @gunner1215

duchessofmalibu With regards to the new offer feature, in order to resend it to your Likers with the same percentage or lower, you can reset the offer feature. To do this, change the size and relist. Then go back, correct the size and rellist. Keep records of your price changes. I do not know why this reset works, but it does. @bethybd I hope to find out more at the Posh Party LIVE on Thursday.
