@keygaard71 Hi!! Just wanted to let you know that the delivery for your bundle was completed on both our parts. How did you like everything!!? 🤗🤗🤗
keygaard71
@trendycutedeals Hey there! I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you- I caught a cold and landed in the hospital myself (thank you, lupus...)! I'm better now but was incommunicado for about 10 days! LOVE everything and you are too sweet! I owe you one now 🤗... How are things with you and your sister! Sending love and light..,,
keygaard71
@trendycutedeals Wait a sec.... I was just catching up on my PM life and it looks like you didn't get paid for the last order! Did you? And if not, what should I do to make it right? Help!!! I certainly don't want you to get the raw end! 😘😘😘
trendycutedeals
@keygaard71 I got paid don't worry... I am so glad you're out!! I'm still here at the medical center; they extended her stay. She had two surgeries in the past 60 days; first the hip and 2 weeks ago her spine. We're just taking it day by day and trying to stay positive ❤️I'm really happy I snuck all that stuff in hopefully it cheered you up and made you smile yay!!!! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help, I don't want you to go back to the hospital 😕
keygaard71
@trendycutedeals It was like getting a Christmas present! And it was a bright spot in a dark time for me so thank you so much! I'm back to my usual health so I think I'm in the clear now... lupus is a weird beast sometimes- just a regular cold hit me enough that I needed some infusions and dialysis to get me back to my version of normal! And my doc is letting me take a break from chemo for a while - yay! I feel for you and your sister. It sounds like a pretty rough journey .
keygaard71
@trendycutedeals I've had a couple long hospital stays for myself (one 5 months long) and I get how miserable and scary it is so I really hope she is able to get out soon... I get that when you are in the hospital you feel like a sick person (sad, scared, dependent, a little hopeless, in pain, no dignity, lonely, at the mercy of docs and nurses who can be great but sometimes you get the evil ones!, etc.) and it doesn't promote wellness.
keygaard71
Once out you feel more like a normal person, even with healing to do and challenges to overcome. Just from my experiences, I heal better and faster when I'm out. So I hope she is able to get out soon.
keygaard71
@trendycutedeals Her surgeries sound intense and I'm so sorry that both of you are going through this. I've done your side of hospital life before and it's as hard as being the patient....I'm here for you if you want to talk. Fairly fluent in doctorese from personal and professional experience and would be glad to help in any way I can.❤️to both ❤️

@keygaard71 I'm glad doc is giving you a break! My sister was diagnosed with cancer about 12-14 years ago. Metastasis all over her body but, was in remission for these past few years, but out of the blue her hip fractured then some vertebrates. She tried chemo a few times when she first underwent radiation, then refused to continue.
trendycutedeals
@keygaard71 She started taking chemo pills this time around and she was in constant pain, weak and looked pale. She stopped taking them and is feeling better. She's always taken the holistic route, but had stopped for a year; so now she's taking that same approach again because that's what worked best with her body.
trendycutedeals
@keygaard71 Right now in her hospital room we have apple cider, coconut oil, ginger, mineral oil, chlorophyll etc lol. She put herself on her own regimen LOL! Again, I'm not familiar with lupus, but if there is anything cancer related, I can definitely point you to some herbs that really helped her get back on her feet. Anything I can do to help, I will.
trendycutedeals
@keygaard71 And stay away from most medications they give you; and always go with your gut instinct (I know you have that in you, you're too smart not too). Staying at the hospital for the past few months with her, I've witnessed them misdiagnose her several times; and even at times they have tried to overmedicate her. Be careful of those doctors, they treat everyone like a statistic, makes me so grrrrrrrrr!
keygaard71
@trendycutedeals You are too sweet- you have enough on your plate so don't worry about me! I've been on the lupus bus since I was 6 y/o and now I just roll with the punches. Cancer is a b*tch and a half. There are a lot of similar treatments b/t cancer & lupus. I've been on and off the chemo pills and totally understand why she would decline.
keygaard71
I'm all into the natural as well- it's hard to get a balance- especially when in the hospital... 😘😘 It sucks to be in the position you are both in - lupus is a chronic thing (autoimmune disorder) where you manage the symptoms and how they affect your body.
keygaard71
@trendycutedeals I'm not complaining here - just sorta explaining...I have joint problems (need a hip replacement but am putting it off b/c they only last 10 years and you can only get 2 replacements in your lifetime), chronic fever (my "normal" temp is 101), kidney problems, and peripheral neuropathy (no feeling in both of my feet), and so on. Basically it is like your immune system is screwed up and attacks your body instead of fighting outside things.
keygaard71
@trendycutedeals All that said, it is just something that you manage with it's ups and downs. I may pick your brain for some of the herbal/ natural treatments! I'm curious - what does chlorophyll do?
trendycutedeals
@keygaard71 I believe chlorophyll is for the blood cells. Exactly like how you explained it, my sister has just been rolling with it too. You guys are gangsta' in my book. They tried to tell me that the cancer shut down her kidneys, amongst a list of other things in the beginning. So the only thing I remember doing was pray and give her lots of cherry juice when she came out of the coma LOL!
trendycutedeals
@keygaard71 She did the girdle stone surgery on her hip in July; her edema has been out of control since then. We just barely (as of yesterday) got the swelling down in the the feet, slowly moving our way up. She's been to a lot of functional doctors, I'll ask her if she knows any secret remedies for your symptoms. Never hurts to ask
keygaard71
And I'm with you on the docs. You have to watch them like a hawk- especially when in hospital when you have less control. It's like they think you are a lab rat... Misdiagnosis and mistreatment happens a lot more often than most people think... I feel bad for the people who don't/can't stand up for themselves. I'll bet doctors are responsible for a lot more hospital fatalities/ bad outcomes than we know . 😪
keygaard71
@trendycutedeals CHERRY JUICE! I drink it every day! I'm going to look into the chlorophyll - sounds interesting...
trendycutedeals
@keygaard71 She got discharged from the center today yay! BTW my heart is sooooo happy to hear that your package came after you got home!! That's was my welcome home present to you!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
