slewis234 @andreamann91. andrea, I grow lavender on my patio in lg pots in part sun part shade and it seems to work well. I get some really great stems for wands every season. And it smells so heavenly when its grown with just good old fashioned dirt, water and syn. You should give it a try again. Adding crushed egg shells and used coffee grounds to your dirt helps a lot! Try it out.
